Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. Excellent location, safe neighbourhood, very friendly staff and nice and quiet...

Room Tip: Get one of the rooms on the back of the hotel if you want a very quiet room..

Just stayed for a day rate in a luxury room which was very spacious, with a deck & great view. Room modern & tastefully appointed. Front desk staff very accomodating & helpful. The airport transfer was also excellent in a well kept Mercedes. Great location in Puerto Madero, where there are lots of excellent restaurant opportunities. A/C & all amenities worked perfectly.

Room Tip: Ask for a luxury room on a high floor facing Puerto Madero--it's worth the extra $.

I stayed here for 3 nights from 11th to 14th November this year and found this hotel very warm, welcoming and friendly. The people on the desk spoke great English and the bellboys are very eager but not too imposing. I found the Spa to be amazing; top floor indoor pool with retracting roof, terrace and you can also get drinks and food there if you like. The treatments were well worth it and the staff here also very demure and accomodating. The rooms are really big with a lovely quiet verandah if you get a room at the back of the hotel. The area is also very safe and lovely to walk around, even alone like i did. I can't really find much negatives about the hotel, except be careful when signing stuff to your room. They automatically add a tip and service charge so be careful here, don't leave the line blank or they fill it in for you! Otherwise, i can't wait to go back again :)

A very good hotel that sits just below the 'luxury' level. It's located in the further reaches of (stunning) Puerto Madero, so you can anticipate lots of walking or taxi rides. However, it's superbly placed for walking to the Ecological Reserve and thus down to the river. Our corner room was spacious and bright, with a very comfortable king size bed, a good bathroom and fine views of the Puerto Madero area from its balcony; the only slightly incongruous touch being the remnants of what seemed to be a kitchenette, maybe from the hotel's previous incarnation under the Sofitel banner. I think I'd have preferred a lower table and chairs to the stools offered; if I'd been trying to work in here I might have found it difficult. Having to pay for wi-fi is also a sign of a hotel that isn't top quality. The wardrobe too seemed unneccessarily small. Small niggles.. On the positive side, service throughout the hotel was good, with helpful English-speaking staff, and breakfasts were better than in several places I stayed on this trip, with food regularly replenished. The Red Resto didn't appeal, but I've commented on that under that heading. You have many other choices in Puerto Madero. It's clear that this is a hotel that wants to appear chic or hip or design oriented and I'm not sure that is necessary, but for the most part they carry it off. Biggest disappointment was the spa (top floor) which we used on consecutive days: if you haven't got the room for proper facilities, maybe you didn't try to offer them: the massage rooms were small and cramped and didn't work, particularly on the second day. Changing facilities, too, were cramped: you fell over other people. And it's worrying when the car from the airport that they've arranged doesn't have a working handbrake! All in all, though, the room was comfortable and suited us for a holiday and we enjoyed the stay. I would go back, despite the reservations - but I wouldn't use the spa.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are best - but cost more

Stayed here for a week and the hotel is great... nice location close to San Telmo ... very clean, very modern... excellent water pressure :-)

The staff are exceptional and always take the time to help you with whatever questions you have or whatever you need (all spoke excellent English).

Hats off to Sebastian and Claudio - best concierge service we have ever experienced...

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the garden are very peaceful ..

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists ... more   less
