My Passport, ID and credit cards having disappeared in Ushuaia before coming to Buenos Aires, the Savoy was very helpful in this situation by being flexible and adaptive as the situation was worked out, even working with the hotel in Ushuaia. Highly professional, and much appreciated. On top of that, a hotel whose architecture still has the magnificence of the grand old hotels while being thoroughly modern. The fact that Albert Einstein stayed there in 1925, and that Eva Peron was a guest of honour in 50, gives the hotel another layer of extra interest.

Room tip: Rooms with street views are definitely worth it.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and pretty decoration. One issue is the lack of light in some room which could be dark at the end. The lobby and the bar are pretty agreable. The price / quality ratio is ok for Buenos Aires.

Stayed for 4night on my own recently for work.
Opulent decor throughout, and very peaceful. Staff were friendly, and the hotel had everything you would expect for a top, hotel. Only small grumble would be about WiFi. The WiFi in my room was slow and unreliable.
Breakfast was good quality, and with great choice

Had a pleasant stay. Used the hotel as a base to travel to Montevideo, and Iguazu and left suitcases in the hotel every time. The staff, especially the bellboy were helpful and attentive. Breakfast was excellent; good selection of foods; dining room staff were attentive and pleasant. y

Room tip: Get room with outside window.

We stayed for two nights pre cruise in January.
The hotel is certerally locatated, clean and with a back drop of original art decor throughout.
Modern rooms, but could have done with a safe.
The food was very nice and service from all staff warm, helpful and friendly.

Room tip: Quiet room over looking the courtyard
