With only a few days to spend in Buenos Aires, we wanted an intimate overview of the expansive and overwhelming city. Pedro met us on time and off we went - touring the sites he suggested and adding more as he got to know what we were interested in seeing. Pedro has great perspective because he has also lived in Germany and America. Our trip to Argentina included a sojourn through wine country in the Uco Valley. It's easy to visit Argentina and immerse yourself in the moneyed worlds of tourist traps and posh vineyards. But if you are interested in feeling the heartbeat of the city, Pedro is the kind of guide who will reveal a complicated city with a tumultuous history. It was especially nice to hire him as a private guide. He was generous with his knowledge and his time. We were grateful to learn of Buenos Aires and Argentina with such color through Pedro. If I am ever fortunate enough to return to Buenos Aires, I will hire Pedro again.

Pedro met my husband & I & the 4 twenty-something year olds with us at our hotel & spent 8 hours taking 6 of us all around the city on our 1st day, followed by a 1/2 day of more touring. He is a great guide, very knowledgeable about the city, the architecture, the culture, history, politics, etc. He has a very easy-going & flexible manner & made excellent suggestions about where we should go & what we should see. Most of our tour was spent walking, with a couple of cab rides & bus rides sprinkled in to get to different neighborhoods. He took us for an authentic Argentinian lunch in La Boca, showed us the beauty of Recoleta & the markets of San Telmo, & made arrangements for us to see an evening Tango dancing show that was one of the highlights of our trip. Pedro made excellent suggestions & really tailored the tour to what we wanted to see & do. He is very easy to talk to and speaks perfect English. We felt in very good hands with Pedro & highly recommend him! His fee is reasonable & well worth it. (He also has a van with driver available if needed.)

Pedro and his driver couldn't have done a better job in showing us their city. We met Pedro at the cruise terminal and didn't envy his job or that of the driver's as they wrestled the luggage of 8 people who had been on a cruise into the van! The van was comfortable and we saw all the major sites of Buenos Aires in our personalized tour. Pedro's accounts about living in Buenos Aires were remarkable and brought the tour to a new level. We stopped at a local restaurant (El Sanjuanino) and had wonderful empanadas at a very reasonable price. Pedro is the best and we highly recommend his tours.

Eight of were met at the cruise terminal by Pedro, having arranged for the tour on his website. He and his driver (in a very nice van that would hold perhaps 14) showed us the city from a very personal point of view. We saw La Boca, Recoleta, the parks, gardens, architecture, etc. The information Pedro supplied made the city come to life. We also stopped at a local restaurant for empanadas that were the best we had on the whole trip. The tour was 7 1/2 hours and we enjoyed every minute. We can highly recommend Pedro and his expert services.

Eight of us spent a Saturday with Pedro Werberg and can't say enough about his knowledge and service. We had such a thorough tour of Buenos Aires as Pedro shared his city and its history. Prompt pick-up at our cruise terminal and his driver was most accommodating. He gave us more than our money's worth! Highly recommend!
