Finally we decided to visit. It proved a well worth wait. The service was extra special and the food amazing. Chicken Emes was a treat along with the Adana kebab. Everything is very well priced and there is something to meet even the tightest of budgets. If you want to experience authentic Turkish food served with a view then this is the place to visit. Would highly recommend.

We had eaten here a good few years ago and loved it. The food was better than other places in the area and we were keen to return on our latest visit to Olu Deniz.

However, this was a return visit after four years and I'm sad to say that there were flies all around us. We were given burning coffee to clear them which just upset other diners so we were moved to a bar next door. After all this, the food was not memorable and simply average. The restaurants in this area of Olu Deniz are not as good as those based along the front by the sea and definitely need to shift from their need to please the "English fry-up seeking person". We won't return as would rather pay a little more and have great food than to pay cheaper prices and have a less then average meal.

Food and service here wonderful. You are always welcomed with a smile. Atmosphere very lively. Aydin is fantastic. Very helpful and accommodating. Have been coming to Olu Deniz for 8 years and not been disappointed. Take the time to try this restaurant. Would definately recommend.

We were attracted to book a table at Sultan Ahmet because the blackboard outside advertised belly dancers on a Tuesday evening. The staff told us the dancers would start at 9:30pm so we booked for 8pm so we could finish eating first, and requested a table with a good view of the dancers. It was my boyfriend's first time in Turkey and he has never seen a belly dancer before, I told him it would be a nice bit of culture.

The meal was amazing, and like the rest of Turkey such great value for money.
We shared a Chateaubriand, and it was excellent quality, cooked to perfection, not a single bit of fat or sinew, so we polished off the lot. It came with three sauces, chips and rice and a lovely little bit of salad. You don't want to fill up on bread or starters if you're having this, but we shared some stuffed vine leaves as an appetiser and they were some of the best ones we had all holiday.

Satisfied with our sumptuous meal we sat back with a Turkish coffee and the beautiful belly dancers arrived bang on 9:30pm. They did a stunning routine. Boyfriend enjoyed the view and then the real fun started.... when one gorgeous belly dancer smiled beguilingly at him and extended her hand, he had no choice but to get up and join her along with half a dozen other unsuspecting husbands... at first the men were in varying shades of shyness, embarrassment or outright mortification but knew it would be rude to refuse, so in turn they were given one of those shimmery belts adorned with jangly coins, and made to shake it... and then "the moment" when they surrendered to the moment and all just went for it... absolute comedy gold. Then it was the women's turn. It's not as easy as it looks but it was tremendous fun.

So I would recommend dining at Sultan Ahmed's any day of the week, but if you can get there on a Tuesday be sure to get into the belly dancing spirit. On other nights they have other types of entertainment such as Michael Jackson tribute, or just a bit of a boogie.

Great value for money and impeccable service. Would love to return here next year.

We ate at this Restaurant in October 2017 and returned May the Quality/Quantity was Excellent it could not be faulted.I would recommend the Steaks you certainly do not need a Steak Knife the meat is so tender.
This might not be the cheapest Restaurant but the value exceeds the cost.
Highly Recommend.
