A really nice place to have a quiet meal and enjoy some very nice food. The menu is large and contains many tempting meals, the four of us appreciated what we were served.
The place is a little hard to find but worth the effort.

While we were in Arpora for 4 weeks in December 2016 to January 2017 we were spoilt for choice for restaurants but the best was the Kukuruku. It is owned by Pinky and her chef husband David. We were made to feel very welcome here and every detail of our selection of dishes was catered for. The decor especially at night gave the feeling of being in the South Pacific!. The music was calming and gentle and the whole ambience was very relaxing. The food was excellent and we went there on four occasions. Despite this being their busiest season, the restaurant was never overcrowded perhaps because this was a little off the beaten track which in my opinion was a very good thing. The waiters were very smiley and attentive. Definately a restaurant not to be missed if you are in the area

We happened upon this place while out for a walk. It is off the main thoroughfare so does not get the 'walk bys' that the other pub/bars do. All the seats are in a garden setting (you may need to cover up against the mosquitos) lit with lights and adorned with tropical trees. It is worth a try and you can get a curry here that is fruity rather than hot and spicy - you can get those too if that is your desire! The staff are lovely and eager to please. We found the food inexpensive and worth the money. Try the mint nanbread. Be prepared to spend the evening here as the food is cooked fresh to order and can take a while to be served to you but we found this very normal in Goa.

My partner saw signs for this restaurant and wanted to try it, however when we went past it looked empty, usually not a good sign. I popped in and had a look at the menu which seemed very varied and authentic and the lady proprietor was so welcoming we decided to give it a go. Four of us went for dinner and all chose something different and everyone agreed that the food was wonderful. It was very quiet but don't be put off, the service was excellent and the food freshly cooked to order to a very high standard. If we had tried Kururuku earlier in our holiday we would certainly have gone back again. This little gem deserves to be much busier.
