Very nice, comfortable room well located for visiting local sites. Owner (I believe) helped check us in and made EXCELLENT dinner reservations for us the first night. Had to take an early seating to get a seat but food was amazing. Ahhh. Neighborhood was quite nice and glad we have GPS. Other than our first night, staff was mostly quite distant. Breakfast staff minimizes interaction and didn't see much other staff during our stay. And as always, the challenge with a hotel of this size is that the majority of other rooms were booked by a single group. I would probably try another hotel when we return but overall experience was pleasant for the cost.

Room Tip: Rooms are well sized. Website had floor plan showing size/view of each room if you have a pool/tennis court.valley view preference

Our week-long stay at Nova Constantia was during early June - the winter. We knew that the weather wouldn't be great, so wanted to find a place with more than just a pool and summer facilities. Nova Constantia met, and surpassed, all of our needs.

We fell in love with it from arrival, when we were greeted with welcome drinks and friendly faces. Our room was lovely - really nice aesthetic, big bathroom and a fireplace (!). Personalized breakfasts were made for us each morning by the incredibly friendly chefs, and then one of Lee, Angelica or Ivana would help us plan our day - giving great advice and recommendations for activities.

While we loved every aspect of our stay at Nova Constantia, it was the service that really made it stand out for us. Between the two of us, we've been lucky enough to experience some great hotels around the world, but nothing comes close to the personal, thoughtful service we received from every member of staff at Nova Constantia. Going the extra mile may be a cliche of the industry, but here they made it a reality. From the time that Lee - the extraordinary (award-winning!!) concierge - brought us DVDs from his own house because the poor weather had kept us indoors, to the impromptu wine-tasting experience Angelica provided for us when we asked for some advice about what bottle to buy, the service blew us away.

We are counting down the days until we can return - this time in the summer, so we can enjoy the beautiful pool and tennis court! 5 stars hardly seems sufficient

Great stylish accommodation with the most luxuriously comfortable King sized bed and deliciously beautiful linen.
From the moment I made the initial enquiry, the service and attention was five star.
I would stay here again and again and .........

Visit Cape Town for US visa interview , so was a last minute booking, Arrived after 10 pm , the Asst Manager met us outside and help us for a fast check in and over some drinks, No restaurant on premises for dinner only for breakfast but did not stop the /asst Manger to whip up 2 toasted sandwiches. Room spacious and beds and pillows very comfortable. Very quiet area so had a good rest, Close to American Consulate , so could have a excellent freshly prepared breakfast , variety very good. Check out no hassle . For a longer stay I shall say only thing requires will be more TV channels.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted and shown around one realized that this was a well-run and delightful guest house. Management is present and on the ball. Really quite exceptional. Constantia is a really nice alternative to the Atlantic seaboard and I will be back.
