Breakfast at Cactusberry Lodge is a sensation of tastes, textures and color. Dishes have been designed and created by Owner/manager Barbara - a great hostess with a well trained and very pleasant staff. Cleanliness and order are clearly very important, atmosphere is relaxed.
Highly recommended !

We spent four nights at this bed & breakfast in August 2012. Since it was wintertime in Cape Town we were upgraded to a room which was very spacious and quiet. The location was great and we were able to walk to the city center with no problem. The owner (Barbara) was incredibly helpful in helping us plan our time there. The breakfasts were copious and included both American/English type choices as well as more European choices. Again, Barbara and her staff treat you as family, and Barbara's hints on cvustoms and culture in Cape Town were invaluable.
Highly recommended.

Excellent! This small bed & breakfast offers an excellent retreat in Cape Town. Nicely decorated and very clean and comforable rooms. A very delicious homemade gourmet breakfast was included. The owner was very helpful with tips and suggestions, as well as very accomodating with my travel plans. The lodge sit within view of Table Mountain in a very nice neighborhood. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The Gardens Mall is also close by, and you can catch a bus to the V&A Waterfront from here. The Company's Gardens are also within walking distance (5-10 minutes). The lodge is quiet and nicely decorated with gated, secure parking. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

This was recommended to us by friends and it was the perfect place to stay when in Cape Town. Ideally suited to see the main city as well as the more luxurious waterfront as well as Table Mountain. Barbara, our host, was the most helpful and accommodating person! Full of ideas, timings, when might be the best to do things etc. Extraordinarily helpful. Breakfast was lovely, despite someone pulling the old 'unscrew the salt pot' trick...highly recommended on all fronts.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed excellent.
