At very short notice we booked into Waterfront Village to a 2-bedroom luxury suite. Wow - what a suite! Ground floor overlooking the canal, utterly gorgeous, with our own plunge pool and large terrace (ask for Palgrave G04). Spotlessly clean to the point that it looked like we were the first people to stay there, top quality fittings (Poggen Pohl kitchen, etc.), wonderfully bright and superbly comfortable beds. Really couldn't have asked for better, especially for the price (£154 on Expedia) and the location (the best and safest in the city). A hop and a step to the V & A Waterfront - we walked there numerous times very easily with our 5-year-old, through security gates and past the 'six-star' One-And-Only Hotel. Right beside the complex pool too, with the most stunning views of the V & A Marina. We really felt like movie stars!
The staff were top notch too - very friendly and helpful, and super responsive. We felt very well looked after. We were even able to keep our car there after check-out at no extra charge, until it was time to drive to the airport.
If you're going to Cape Town and want somewhere luxurious, superb location, incredibly safe and very friendly then look no further. We would not hesitate to stay there again.More
