Great place to go for shopping, food, drinks. Good selection of boat trips including sunset cruises. There's a big wheel if you want to see the sites of cape town and buskers if you want to listen to both original African music and modern singers. The food market is amazing. There are stalls selling different types of food both savoury and sweet. Next to this is a market section which sells local products such as jewellery, pictures, clothes.

The apartment was only half-clean, with someone else's hair still in the bathtub, blood spatter of killed mosquitoes on the walls and ceiling.

The permanent residents of the building are extremely rude, arrogant, and especially hostile.

The location is great, but that is as far as I can reach for a compliment.

We will never return.

We have just returned from our first time in South Africa, and if I went back I would certainly stay at the Waterfront Apartments again. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are amazing, the beds are very comfortable. Views are amazing, it's lovely and quiet and you feel very safe with the security they have. It's also very handy for the V & A Waterfront, a 10 minute walk, where most of our excursions started from. Overall a very handy base

We booked this hotel for our last day in Cape Twin before our early morning flight.
On arrival w found the staff very friendly and courteous. We actually thought is was a hotel with rooms. We were allocated an apartment with all facilities a few minutes walk form the booking in office. This was a gated security complex on the V& A Waterfront.

Can certainly recommend.

Stayed here for 3 nights from 30th March, check in was from a separate building but was shown into out first floor apartment by a member of staff who helped us with our bags all very friendly and helpful. car parking space included with the apartment. Spacious 2 bedrooms with kitchen, dining area and lounge area. Balcony which sat up to 6 over looking the canal. Apartment very well equipped, clean and very modern. We stayed in 105 in the Altemore block. There are 5 pools of which we only found one with a gym in a separate building again we never found. Security into the complex was very good key access only at all entrances, including in and out of the carpark so very safe. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the V & A waterfront.
