Stayed here for 3 nights from 30th March, check in was from a separate building but was shown into out first floor apartment by a member of staff who helped us with our bags all very friendly and helpful. car parking space included with the apartment. Spacious 2 bedrooms with kitchen, dining area and lounge area. Balcony which sat up to 6 over looking the canal. Apartment very well equipped, clean and very modern. We stayed in 105 in the Altemore block. There are 5 pools of which we only found one with a gym in a separate building again we never found. Security into the complex was very good key access only at all entrances, including in and out of the carpark so very safe. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the V & A waterfront.

We stayed here for six nights in a two bed apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is really great, within easy reach of all that the V& A Waterfront has to offer yet remains very quiet and relaxed. The facilities were really comfortable and the apartment was well furnished. Shame we couldn't use the jacuzzi in the bathroom but given the seriousness of the drought in Cape Town it didn't seem appropriate. Despite the drought we were able to use the swimming pools which were all open as they were filled with sea water. It would have been been good though to have had wifi which given the standard of the accommodation was rather surprising that we didn't. We had a lovely view of the canal from our balcony, the whole stay was really very good.

Rented a "luxury" apartment for 2 weeks. Arrived and shown first ground floor apartment and asked to be moved as was so bland and not at all luxurious. Moved to a bigger apartment on lst floor, nicer and lighter, on initial inspection, with nice view. Once settled in realised was dirty, badly equipped and hardly luxurious. Paint work dirty, cushions torn and dirty, mish mash of cutlery and china, dirt on skirtings, floor and windowsills. . Few pans and no starter pack - salt and pepper, oil to cook with etc. Had to ask for balcony to be cleaned and then had to do it again myself as still dirty. Balcony furniture broken and stained. The pots on balcony were watered every other day or so, but were weeds! We suggested not worth watering (there was a water shortage) and "gardener" agreed.
Location is lovely, short walking distance to V & A Waterfront with plenty of restaurants around and things to see and is very secure.
Before leaving showed management around and they were "surprised". As a gesture they gave free wifi and let us leave apartment late for our night flight.....
This was not a cheap holiday and although they had moved us to a more expensive apartment and not charged us, their response was hardly adequate. Raised it with our travel agent, showed them the photos of the apartment and we received a refund. They were most surprised as had had no trouble before, but have been unable to contact the Waterfront Apartments.
Perhaps we were just unlucky, but we have travelled extensively world wide and never before suffered such such a problem. Trouble is, when you are on holiday you don't want to spend your time complaining.

Room Tip: Best position for an appartment is overlooking the main yacht marina. We overlooked the canal. Still very pleasant.

We stayed here during a four-day stay in Cape Town. It's spacious, homely and, because it's within a private complex, feels extremely safe. All the staff were really helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. OK, there's no Wi-Fi in the apartment but for a couple of pounds you can add it for the whole of your stay. No biggie. It's a mere five-minute stroll to the restaurants and attractions on the V&A waterfront, and we were able to pack more into our stay because of this. The apartment had everything we needed and was the ideal city base. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment with secure underground parking. Very comfortable and well equipped apartment, conveniently located for the Waterfront in easy walking distance and very convenient for ferry to Robben island, boat and helicopter rides and sightseeing bus.
Only downside as mentioned in other reviews was WiFi was only available in the reception area which was 5 minute walk away which was quite inconvenient but not the end of the world, but the only place we stayed on our trip where it was a problem.
Helpful friendly reception staff who arranged good priced taxis/ Ubers.
