We had two separate stays at the Waterside Village, with a trip along the Garden Route sandwiched in between. The first apartment we stayed in was excellent, beautifully decorated, roomy with amazing views over the canal. The kitchen was well equipped with both a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The main advantage of staying in this location is its adjacency to the V & A area, a quick 10 minute walk. There are plenty of eating options and if you want to cook for yourself, the V & A has both a Woolworth's and a 'Pick and Pay'.
For our second stay our apartment was not quite as modern as the first but still impressive.
As previous reviewers have stated, the Waterfront Village is a very secure complex with access by pass cards. Staff at Reception were friendly and helpful.More
