Excellent service, excellent hospitality, excellent location, excellent room standard, all around excellent. Great for romantic visits and family accommodation. Stayed here before and now my go-to hotel in CPT.

The staff at the heritage are very helpful and very friendly people. The hotel itself is comfortable and we'll positioned, with numerous restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. A secure and pleasant place to stay in cape town.

Room Tip: Room 103 was very comfortable

Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay here longer. The staff is among the most friendly, helpful people we have encountered in our travels. Whether it was help with a booking, breakfast, suggesting a restaurant for dinner or just idle conversation, my wife and I loved this hotel. We booked a junior suite and it was a huge, bright room with a great bathroom. The value was incredible as well, so definitely check the price level for all the rooms when booking. Hotel held our extra luggage after we arrived in Cape Town until we returned to the hotel after our travels to Kruger Park and Victoria Falls. Breakfast was excellent - everything is fresh and homemade. Strongly suggest staying here and I know if my wife and I ever return to Cape Town, we certainly will stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful few days!

Room Tip: Junior Suite was huge!

My wife and I stayed here during a three day visit to Cape Town. The hotel staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and served us drinks as they checked us in and took our luggage to our room. The hotel was in a historic old building, which gave it a lot of charm and warmth. We had a fantastic room which had modern amenities but which preserved a lot of the history of the place - high ceilings with moulding, creaky wooden floors, etc. The staff was always helpful and friendly whenever we needed advice on travel, assistance arranging taxis, or anything else. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. There was a rooftop hot tub as well as a sauna. Also, the location was great, within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and bars and on a relatively safe street. They also offered guarded parking for guests in the lot next door to the hotel. We loved our room, but since it faced the street and was only on the second floor it was a little noisy at night until the restaurant and bar crowds went home, so perhaps ask for a courtyard-facing room if you want to go to bed early. All in all, it was a fantastic place and we would love to stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the streets were a little noisy, perhaps ask for one facing the courtyard
