We stayed at the Radisson Blu on the waterfront for 4 nights in October and found it to be an excellent hotel. The location was perfect, lovely views over the sea and a small marina could be enjoyed from the hotels outside lounge/ seating /dining area, with Table Mountain and the world cup football stadium to view in the other direction. We had a standard room which was large and spotless with the bed linen and towels being changed daily. Our room which was at the front of the hotel looked out onto the football stadium and Table Mountain. You need to book a business class room which are even larger to over look the water.
The hotel provides transport to takes you to and from the famous waterfront every hour, it takes less than 5 mins in a vehicle or you can walk it in less than 15 mins, also the local taxis are cheap and available.
All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our only criticism was that the hot food at the amazing breakfast, and it really was amazing, was not hot enough, just warm. We spoke to the restaurant management about this and they took on board our criticism and were going to do their best to address the problem. We feel very confident in recommending this hotel and would be very happy to stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights from 15th October and had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious although I think you benefit from paying for business class upgrade as our view looked on to car park . Did not spoil our stay. Service at Reception good, however from F&B staff was excellent and could not be faulted. Bar staff, breakfast and dinner staff lovely and friendly without exception. Dinner was good, breakfast was brilliant. Providing the wind is not whipping up outside the outdoor seating area is perfect for dining. Wonderful view. It is around 15 minute walk to V and A however if you don't fancy it taxis are very cheap. Living in the UK we unfortunately wont return for a while however we will definitely go back on our next holiday. One of the best Radissons I have stayed in.

Stayed for 5 nights in October. Lovely lovely hotel on the Waterfront, in the area of Capetown with the most going on. One of the best breakfasts ever, evening dining a bit limited however. Great outside dining / lounging area especially when the sun is shining and the clouds falling over Table mountain. Will definetly go back next time in Capetown.

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights and do wish we were able to stay there longer. The location is superb! The view is breath taking!!! We had a sea view room and had the pleasure to see dolphins and just enjoy the view of the ocean. The staff are fantastic and nice that the hotel is situated close to the Waterfront so there is lots to do. Look forward to staying at the hotel soon.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room if you can.

It's out of discussion that the hotel is located at a beautiful spot. From some rooms, you are able to see both, sunrise and sunset. Also, the service is decent, people are friendly. But the hotel certainly doesn't meet the prerequisites to be a business hotel. Their so-called 'high speed internet' is extremly slow, if it works at all. I could add complaints over complaints, but in summary, it's just totally overprized and not suitable at all if you have to rely on internet and other basic equipment to do work.

Room Tip: From some sea view rooms you are able to see sunrise and sunset.
