The hotel was great! a few minor issues kept it from me giving them 5 stars.
The TV service sucks. we had to reboot the thing about 8-10 times during a 5 day stay. also kept getting errors that the account was in arrears.

the in-room coffee service kept sucking up pods without delivering coffee.

One of the managers (I think her name was Tanya) seemed to lose patience with our room and my mom's (this was part of an 80th birthday gift for her) room with having to reboot the Dish TV stuff way too many times. there was another manager who was truly outstanding. Overall they were great

the food and service were exceptional.

the rooms were amazing and had the best views I could have imagined.

Staff were extraordinary.

will definitely go back (as soon as I can put up with another 2 hour flight, layover and another 15.5 hour flight back to NY)

We stayed here for the first two nights of our holiday to acclimatize from winter in London and get some rest before getting stuck into the rest of our trip - perfect place to chill out, service is great but very lais back and unintrusive. The beach is just across the road and the hotel lent us towels and umbrellas. Lounged by the small but stylish and comfortable pool in the afternoons before grabbing some dinner in one of the many fab restaurants less than 5 mins walk away. Rooms are roomy, bright and stylish, the shower/bath rooms are huge and very clean and fresh.

When we arrived at The Marly and having told them it was our anniversary the bed and room was covered in rose petals. They had the hot tub on and a bottle of champagne on ice, a lovely touch for check in. Room was fantastic and the staff were on hand for anything you needed. We were sorry to leave but the stay was brilliant due to customer service and location. Highly recommend.

We had a great week at the Marly. Great location at lively Camps Bay. Very large and well planned junior suite. But perhaps the best of all was the quality of service - the staff were so helpful and responsive. We would be very happy to return on another trip.

We booked this hotel through a travel company, and Camps Bay was not where I had originally wanted to stay in Cape Town, but I'm so glad we did. What a beautiful location! We had a room on the back side of the hotel, and we woke up every morning watching the sun rise over Table Mountain. The rooms are large with king sized beds and an entire sitting area. The furnishings are very modern and everything is clean. There are a ton of restaurants in the area, and the beach is beautiful. We had no problem taking taxis or Uber to get to other parts of the city. My only complaint is that the breakfast doesn't start until 8am. We had activities that started around that time most days. They will bring breakfast to your room earlier, but one time it was late and had obviously sat under a warmer for a long time.
