Absolutely loving everything about this place...the gorgeous view from my very clean room, the excellent service from the staff (who were also willing to help me with my way around town), the breakfast...

Another plus it's only 5-10 min walk to the beach

For such a price it's definitely very cost effective for such a service in such a resort area!!

It was an easy walk to the beach. Amazing views from the balcony. The staff were always very helpful. Great location if you want to do the hop on hop off bus as stops in camps bay. Also lots of restaurants and bars 10 minutes walk from hotel. Would definitely recommend

Room Tip: Choose sea view room

I stayed here for the first two nights of my holiday in South Africa and I was not disappointed.
We arranged a pick up from Cape Town airport directly with the hotel. At a cost of 300 Rand this was well worth it. The driver was friendly and pointed out places of interest on the way to the hotel.
A very friendly receptionist welcomed us. We were a little early and our room wasn't quite ready. The receptionist immediately offered us coffee. A nice friendly touch.
We were introduced to Timothy who showed us to our room and gave us lots of information.
The breakfast was nice and well worth getting up for.
A bit of a walk down to the seafront brings you to the lovely bars and restaurants.
Really enjoyed our stay and are already planning to return next year with friends.

I stayed for 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The main positive is its location just over 5 mins walk to the lovely Camps Bay beach front. Also the staff are really nice and helpful making you feel really welcome. I had room 2 which has a sea view (from across the road) and had a balcony which is shared with the adjoining rooms. It offered nice views for sundowners. The room was small but neatly furnished with a nice bathroom and in general offered a comfortable stay. The wifi signal was good in the room, balcony and breakfast area. Amenities in the room included and in room safe, Tea/Coffee making station, and a small fridge. There was no complimentary water, although there was an honesty bar in the nice breakfast / lounge area. The main downside was that when I visited it was mid-summer and there was a heat wave in Cape Town and the rooms don’t have AC, but just a ceiling fan so the room got very hot. However, after asking at reception an extra fan was provided which did the trick. The heat was probably only an issue due to it being unusually hot. The breakfast was good with the standard cereals / fruit and also cooked options available too. Staying for a week it was useful to use the laundry service which cost R 125 for a small bag, and an ironing board was available too. In the room there was a booklet with lots of useful information including local restaurants, one of which is the Hussar grill which is only a couple of minutes’ walk up the hill and is rated as the best restaurant in Camps Bay, which I would highly recommend.
In summary, for the price, especially for Camps Bay I think the place offers good value and with the nice staff it offers a perfectly pleasant stay.

We love Camps Bay and as it was close to our friend in Bantry Bay, 61 On Camps Bay was ideally situated. A clear favorite amongst international visitors and a lovely breakfast included. The room we were in needed a little bit of a refreshing as years or wear and tear is starting to show. It was very clean but all the sliding doors of most of the rooms
seemed to
struggle to close. The lady next to us, banged her many times to try and close it and we even struggled closing ours.
