The rooms are spacious chalets away from reception and has a shower. You get complimentary insect repellant as mosquitos are plenty. On the night I visited there was a set menu for Dinner which was delicious. The chef made me a veg platter which I thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was a buffet with all the regulars on display.

Dear Sureshinee
Thank you for your review and as we have had a lot of rain we are aware that there are mosquitoes and do try to protect our guests as much as possible. Our chef is very grateful for your positive review as well.

Hotel Numbi is a little older than I. It is not young any more, but it is clean and safe and on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park. There is nearly 2 million hectares of unrivaled diversity of life forms in the park. It is a good idea to overnight at Hotel Numbi if you are going to be arriving too late to enter the park before the gate closes. Call the reception desk to book.

Although the staff is very friendly, the carpets in the passage definitely needs replacing. We had to pack up at 20h00 at night after a long day and move to another room due to no hot water and nobody even bothered to apologize for the inconvenience.

Good day Beryl, we really do apologise for this problem which occured and which you are right was not explained to you. Unfortunately between the two shifts of reception our maintenance team did not advise that the water pipe to Main House 3 had burst and that there was not hot water coming through the taps, as this would have enabled reception to call you and request that they move you prior to your return late that evening.

We do sincerely apologise for this and we would really like to make it up to you if you are willing to visit us again.

The rooms are nothing like photos. Absolutely shocked. Really old musty smelling room. Old dirty bathroom with sticky stained tub. Leaking toilet. Tiny little insects all over bed. This is to just name a few things. Feel Ripped off at 1200 ZAR which says a lot. When I went back to see photos on TripAdvisor I couldn't believe it. Don't like shooting down small businesses and would have bit my tongue but for the fake photos and profile. Be warned. Took a bunch of photos but decided not to post as don't want to be that person...

It was okay. Enjoyed our time in Hazy view and the food was super. Don't really have much to say. Our stay almost got ruined by an employee here but we didn't let him. We definitely coming back with our friends.
