What a wonderful experience. It is very secure and a perfect place to go away for a second Honeymoon. We had a jacuzzi to ourselves, overlooking the bushveld. It is very private and clean. The interior of the bungalow was luxurious.

Room Tip: There is one special cabin on top, overlooking the bushveld. Very nice.

We were 2 families who stayed for 3 nights at Tranquil Nest.. We absolutely loved our stay ... The service was exceptional .. Ellen was an amazing host... The heated outdoor iPad an absolute treat... The barbecue on the last night was also great fun... I would totally recommend staying there.

The amenities of Tranquil Nest is everything they advertise and more. We enjoyed our stay in the exclusive 4-stand caravan park close to Hazyview which is very centrally situated between the Kruger Park, Sabie, Graskop and all the other wonderfull things situated in Mpumulanga. The only neglect was that they forgot to mention the main road from Witrivier to Hazyview (R40) is about 50m away from the premises, being the cause of a LOT of road noise. Whether 10 vehicles or 100 vehicles passes during the night, is irrespective; the setting is all but tranquil. No matter how great all the other features of the property, it will never be able to justify the noise from the road. Having spend a lot of money getting to Hazyview and paying a 5-star price for our accommodation, I cannot help but feel a bit robbed after our Easter-weekend outing and a bit tired...

Dear Guest,

We are happy that you enjoyed our excellent facilities.
As far as the traffic is concerned the following:

1. Easter is a busier than normal time, traffic wise, COUNTRY WIDE..
2. The Roads department is working on upgrading the R538, the shorter route from White River to Hazyview at present, diverting much of that traffic to the R40. This is fortunately only temporary.
3. Our chalets are especially "Tranquil" and all guests love the natural bush feeling, and prolific bird life.
4. We have guests who return again and again, both to the chalets and sites.
5. Our Tranquil Nest website clearly states that we are adjacent the R40. Adjacent = Adjoining, Contigious, Next to -

I rest my case.

Such a lovely place. We felt at home every single day and special care was taken to ensure we had a lovely stay. Splash pool and braai area a big bonus. Housekeeper is a star. Beautiful view from the patio and braai area, and private.

Have stayed in the area before but this is by far the best. Beautiful setting, abundant wildlife including zebra, vervet monkeys and wilderbeest just wandering by. Excellent security, outstanding housekeeping. Forget the overpriced so called upmarket resorts, been there done that and they are not a patch on this, true Africa at its best.
