This is a very comfortable off the busy CBD track Bistro. A different menu from your normal breakfast menu but with good variety. Prices are a bit on the high side but worth it. Ambience is good and seating comfortable. Ample secure parking. If need to make any meat purchase the Bistro forms part of the Fleisherei butchery. Really worth the visit.

Best gnocci meat dish. Place is beautifully decorated. Big enclosed play area for children. Friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely return.

We had dinner there on a Friday. Restaurant is nice with a relaxing atmosphere. Waiter was attentive and friendly. The food was also good although I think the portion sizes are too small. And please offer BOTH veggies AND a starch with your meals. To be served two small pieces of steak and a small bowl of chips for R155 is a real letdown. Vegetables cost nothing, just add it to your meals. People are more health conscious now, we would like to have veggies with our meal.

My wife and I decided to try this Bistro for the first time earlier this month.
Safe and secure parking meant a stress free evening awaited us.
After being welcomed by the friendly staff, we sat down in a clean and pleasant environment... with tables both inside and outside.

Amanda would be our waitress... she was friendly and ‘down to earth’... none of this pretentious attitude you find at so many places.

I had a gourmet burger and my wife had the fillet - we shared the house salad and a bottle of wine.
Food quality was excellent - tasty and fresh. Near the end of the meal, the chef came out and greeted us... also super friendly. We felt like we were regulars.

The meal cost us about R540, which included a R250 bottle of wine... real value for money in my opinion.

We really enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be returning (as regulars).
