Premier Hotel is an average hotel which is good for short stay even though I spent 6 nights. The location is good and is close to a mini mall with restaurants, pharmacy, banks and supermarket in close walking distance. It is also walking distance to the famous Union Building which is home to the offices of the President of South Africa.
The hotel staff was friendly, professional and courteous, this hotel does have a homely feel to it.
If you want bigger rooms you must book the executive rooms, standard rooms are smaller. The rooms are dated and would do well with more lighting, but it's not a resort so not expecting luxury. The bedding was decent not the best but I did have good night sleep. There was also adequate channels on TV and good WiFi.
The breakfast is full hot buffet with great dining room staff who will go beyond the call of duty to ensure you have a great experience. The workers are all pleasant, smiling and willing to assist, I also observe they are all great team workers. Kudos for that which seem to be missing in a lot of places who serve customers.
Only negative about it is that you can hear the conversations in the next room or when walking down the hallway.
I will definitely stay here again at this hotel and as a Travel Agent I would recommend it to my clients.More
