Made and paid up front for my booking of 6 pax, had my family up from Cape Town and one leaving for the UK end December, really wanted to spoil them with a unique day out at the beach in Bredell. Was called Saturday 17th December 2016 a day before our booking was due by Conrad very apologetic, informing me they would have to cancel or move my booking due to another group having cancelled and therefore not viable opening the beach just for us. Whilst I understood I must say very very disappointing, even though I was offered alternatives, these were just not an option for us unfortunately. If all patrons are requested to pay up front surely such a late cancellation would forfeit their payment, at least then those who had made the commitment would not be let down. SMS and emailed for my refund still no acknowledgment to either, feeling very vulnerable right now.
