Website is completely deceiving. Located in a very bad area of town. Parking feels unsafe and the entrance from the parking is disgusting with an ancient lift.We used room service to get juice, this took almost an hour and they didn't have any bottled juice. The elevator closed on us. The restaurant menu is very limited so we tried the buffet dinner, which was awful. The roast was cold and tough and we had to cut it ourselves. The chicken was drenched in fat and the buffet was completely overprised for the poor quality you receive. They didn't have the winelist wines available. The shower water was cold. The bedding was brown and torn, it also didn't seem very clean. The carpets and curtains are really old and torn. The windows didn't close properly. There are no safes and we were scared of leaving our things in the room when we went for dinner. This hotel is neither worth the 4 stars nor the price you pay. They will definitely not see us again and neither will we recommend it to anyone.

This is not a good hotel although the staff are very friendly and extremely willing. The food is unpleasant and the coffee disappointing. It takes hours for a cappuccino to arrive but that's due to the fact that there's only one machine that doesn't really work. I wish the staff all the best but this hotel is in some serious need of a revamp and there's no way that it can be a 4-star hotel.

Albeit that the hotel is in the process of an upgrade this must be the least attractive hotel i stayed in for a very long time. The building works went on for a short while during the early evening. The staff was not very equipt to deal in terms of knowledge of product and service and one could be highly irritated if they were not so willing to try and solve the matter. The hotel did not not have your very basic soft drink in stock and it took a very long time to serve the food from the alcarte menu. The room was clean and comfortable with a view.

Don't be fooled by the rooms you see in the website. Definitely not the case. Arrived to something out of the 1950s. That part of the hotel should be closed. Service in restaurant was good. Viewed another room that was a major improvement but still not what is on the website.

Room Tip: Request the renovated section

I attended a conference organisers conference recently held at this venue which came to be known as "Faulty Towers" during the conference due to the numerous mishaps e.g. stuck lifts, missing necessities like toilet paper, exterior windows that didn't close properly, chairs under door handles to feel safer in rooms and shabby interiors in the main conference hall including wires and cabling lying on the carpet along the walls. There was a perfunctory apology for the ongoing renovations from the venue at the end of the conference but this event was booked well in advance. Surely a venue hosting a conference of this type would make sure that their renovations had been completed so that they could present the best possible experience to attract maximum business from the conference. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to have been the case.
