We had a 5 night stay in June (cold time of year in SA)
The accom is very nice, we even had our own plunge pool and steam room overlooking the lake.
The rooms in our villa (the biggest one available there) consisted of a central lounge with fire-place and two separate bedrooms at either end of the building, so great if you want privicy from the kids.
The view every morning from the villa is totally stunning with hippos bathing in the lake and little monkeys on your patio.
During our first night there a leopard was prowling right outside our door, staff had seen it on cctv and dealt with it without waking us.
The safaris are twice daily and inclusive 7.00am and 3pm we luckily had Justin who was chief guide and very very knowlegable.
A word of warning though, keep your arms and face in the Land-Rover or risk a nasty cut from the huge thorns...
The animals were truly amazing and we saw all types at the reserve.
My only complaint was the food, am sure by usual SA standards it is very good, by UK standards it could be a little hit or miss.
The staff were great and friendly but Justin was just outstanding.More
