This was a disaster and ruined our New Years Eve plans. We booked into the San Jose Lodge for New Years Eve as we wanted to spend the night celebrating in Bisbee and it was the only hotel offering available rooms

We took our time travelling up to Bisbee and arrived there late afternoon. We wanted to then check in and get changed ready for the evening

First of all, the hotel is situated miles and miles out of town. Way further than I ever imagined it would be - disaster number one. But worse was to come. There was nobody around at reception so we rang the bell and the door was answered by a guy who told us the hotel was closed down!!! So we had travelled all the way up from Rio Rico to spend the night in Bisbee and now it was late afternoon and we had nowhere to stay

We tried calling several phone numbers to find out what was going on but the phone number we got off the door of reception just had a recorded message with another number to call and when we called the other number the person did not know what we were talking about

Absolutely thoroughly and bitterly disappointed. Totally ruined our New Years Eve celebrations

Older, motel style, property. The room was a bit dated but all nice and clean. Old school TV but it worked ok. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet during my stay and I did not hear any of the other guests. Wifi worked fine. Had a nice chat with the lady in the Office when I checked in.
The price was reasonable for the area.
The restaurant on the property has closed recently.

Room clean, but spartan. Single chair no table. Ice machine worked when we got there but did not produce any ice the next morning. Did not serve breakfast in cafe until 10AM. This would not be 1st choice to stay. Manager had a slight attitude. On the plus side, it's a quiet location.

We will only stay here when we visit southern Arizona. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The rest of the town has an arrogance I dont like, but not here. Very genuine and amazing, will recommend to,everyone. Go to the restauramt great Mexican and Indian food

Very nice for an older place. Priced well within reason. Staff extra friendly. Quiet area. Room was nice. We had breakfast at their restaurant and was well pleased with quality of service and food. I would recommend.
