“Restful Bed and Breakfast”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Charming and beautifully landscaped escape. Backs to scenic lake with lots of private seating areas around large back yard. Great place for a nap! Home is roomy, clean and well decorated. Shared a bathroom, but never was a problem. This place is extremely well insulated, so we couldn't here any other guest noises even though it was full. Our room was large with plenty of room for 3 large suitcases. Flat screen TV with good sattelite reception and comfy sofa, also. Large, log type furniture that was appropriate for Alaskan B & B...but not rustic at all. Great breakfast with home-made jellies, breads, egg casserole and bacon. Friendly atmosphere with people from all over the world. Loved it. Thanks Carol!

“Awesome lakefront location”
Reviewed 3 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Beautifully maintained large house, with spacious lawn areas that go right out to Lake Lucille and a private dock. Great sunset over the lake. Easy drive to markets in Wasilla. Delicious breakfast, with a potato dish to die for. We even stole some delicious raspberries off the bushes in the yard. Good base from which to explore Iditarod Museum, Hatcher Pass, Musk Ox and Reindeer farms, and Matanuska Glacier, among other attractions. Only 40 minutes out of Anchorage, and more cost-effective and comfortable than Anchorage hotels.

“Beautiful, comfortable, peaceful place with great food.”
Reviewed 13 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We arrived to find a beautiful well manicured property that flowed pasted by a nice covered grilling area down to a nice dock on a pristine lake,( the dock is in about six feet of water, you can see the bottom clearly). Our nice sized room was well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The bath room was nice and well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, and washcloths. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. I suspect this property was recently remodeled because every thing looked new and was well thought out. A very quiet place, even though it is close to the main part of Wasilla,(I estimate about two (2) miles).
The best part is the Breakfast, there were these coffee cakes they tasted so good and were so fresh they must be home made, some with brown sugar and spices and nuts, one sort of a streusel coffee cake, served with a soft sweet butter,(so much better than the supermarket baked goods and frozen hard butter packets) there was a delicious homemade quiche that had the flavors of an Denver omelet and the silkiest scrambled eggs with cubes of lean sweet Virginia style ham. On the table, a nice urn of hot coffee, pitcher of orange juice, I think vaguely remember cereal and some choices, I had no interest in. Downstairs there is a common area kitchen with refrigerator, table, plates ,cups, glasses, silverware, microwave, coffee pot, teas and coffee, both instant and ground. there is a common area sitting area with a huge TV and DVD player the cable TV is good, we didn't watch TV much. We also had a TV in our room.
This is an family owned and operated B&B by friendly and charming people.
I have never slept so well or been more comfortable, or served by people who clearly enjoy having guests visit their home.

“Lovely, cozy victorian suite”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Lake Lucille B & B is lovely, quiet, and peaceful; it is set "on the lake". There are quilts everywhere; antique linens, rolling pins and other decorations made the Arctic Rose suite and whole house look special and feel so homey. Breakfast was homemade and absolutely delicious. The dining room was inviting and smelled wonderful of baking casseroles, biscuits and breads. The owner had made three different casseroles from scratch. The owner graciously shared her love of cooking and teaching with us. Very safe and free wifi!

“Stay here if you are anywhere near Anchorage”

Located right on Lake Lucille (float planes and wildlife) in Wasilla (just north and west of Anchorage). Newer facility and very comfortable. Exceptionally friendly owners and excellent home cooked breakfast in family kitchen. Our unit also had its own kitchen (possibly shared but no one else there at the time) Will make it a point to stay here again if ever in Alaska again.
