Two breakfasts with toast and two coffees just under £20. Sat outside in the sunshine as we had dogs, everywhere lovely and clean so wasn’t worried about dogs under the table! Blankets thoughtfully provided if it gets chilly. Breakfast freshly cooked and enjoyable but served on cold plates - c’mon guys this is a basic requirement surely?
Perhaps not a AA Rosette requirement! This restaurant has two rosettes I believe.
Knocked off a point for the cold plates - sorry.

Had lunch at this lovely cafe whilst staying in Newport. Delicious! Great value, great portions, tasty food and really friendly service. Lovely cafe that is well worth a visit. Gluten-free options too - my daughter tells everyone about her favourite meal she ate whilst we were away which were your mushrooms and poached eggs on gluten-free toast!

Lovely family lunch at Fron Las. Great service, warm welcome and lovely food. I had the Galician fish stew including Welsh cockles. It was delicious! Well worth a visit.

We came upon Blas at Fronlas when looking for a dog friendly lunch location.

The homely atmosphere starts from the outside with blankets, for those choosing to sit outside, to snuggle beneath.

Inside the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The menu has a good choice of food and drink. Portion sizes are great.

The staff are friendly and polite.

The deli selection houses some lovely local products. Definitely recommend.

So often, so good. We have had a couple more meals over the weekend - as always the food and service was superb. Well done Lindsey and her great crew.
