We booked 3 days in Sapa, right before covid strikes again in Hanoi. Aira is only a few minutes from central Sapa.

Not only they accepted to postpone to a further date, they gave us a premium room without extra charge. I assume it was because many cancelled their booking and there was one upgrade available.

The room was clean and spacious, furnitures outstandingly mixing modern and tradition. The bed makes waking up extremely hard, because how soft it was.

Because it was cold, we asked for bed heater, which they provided righ away.

Staff was really friendly helpful, advising us trekking tour, restaurants and Sapa specialties.

The breakfast has room for improvement (very basic) but the "order from the kitchen" fresh pancakes, omelet and Pho was a really nice touch.

To wrap it up, Aira deserve their most rated title in Sapa, and I would recommend this hotel warmly. Granted, Hotel la coupole or grand Silk are on a more premium niche, but charge much more and suits better international clientele.

Aira shines with its "value for the money" edge.

At our recent visit we were treated like royalty, the staff assisted us with many suggestions of things to do and places to visit. They help greatly with translation with local taxis and grabs. Great breakfasts. Not far from the centre of Sa Pa, just a short walk to many restaurants and bars. Highly recommend

A fabulous hotel close to sapa town but up a wee hill so away from the hustle and bustle and affording incredible views over the valley and mountains.
The hotel is clean and decor is really nice, rooms are large and comfortable.
The staff though, are what make the stay 5*. Nothing was too much trouble, they were warm and friendly and super welcoming. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation and although we rarely return to the same hotel, this will be an exception for us as we definitely will return.
Due to a lack of tourism in sapa, the hotel are only able to serve lunch and dinner at weekends (breakfast is available every day) and their spa is currently closed. However, neither of these things were a problem at all since there are many restaurants to choose from very close by and the hotel also recommend a spa nearby until they are able to open their own again.
