I came to this hotel for a yoga class and ended up staying for lunch at the restaurant, because the service was so great! High quality yoga class and an amazing lunch! I will be going back for yoga for sure and would like to stay at the hotel in the future!

One of the most unique places I’ve been to anywhere. Amazingly beautiful place, attention to every detail, exquisite personal treatment and great healthy food & drinks. Seriously, it looks like Eden, with all the vegetation, the birds singing, the traditional Balinese houses, etc. this is how heaven/paradise must look like (Instagrammers rejoice!). On top of this, they offer daily 3/4 yoga and meditation classes, which even for a beginner were enjoyable. Breakfast with organic food and good variety for several days, and to die for juices/smoothies that run four time less than NYC (and of course are much better). I didn’t try, but they also offer spa, massages and private yoga sessions.

Located away from the bustling Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu areas but close at the same time if you wanna go to the beach/restaurants (with taxi/motorbike, streets are not meant for walking people). There are some mosquitoes, gekkos, etc around, but something to be expected, nothing that bothered me, and they do provide repellents.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to forget about the world, this is it. Exactly what I was looking for when I left NYC.

Thank you for the days spent there Thomas! Gracias!

I came for a 7 day solo yoga and could not fault a single thing with stay. The peace and quiet, the amazing, beautiful salt water pool, the super-cute and cozy, traditionally styled accommodation, the incredible food, the top-class staff and the brilliant yoga teachers and classes - all of it absolute perfection.

Whether the organic farming, farm to table restaurant concept, to the holistic spa accompanied by the yoga program, and then of course, all the antique, recycled, refurbished homes as accommodations. How lucky we are to love what we do and when we come to "work" is it really work? til our next meeting!

My partner and I had the most amazing stay at Desa Seni. We could not have asked for better. As soon as you walk through the door all your stress falls away. It is an eco sanctuary and we could not fault a thing. The staff, the rooms, the food, the grounds and the yoga are all perfection. Cannot wait to stay here again and again.

This was my second time staying at Desa Seni, and it was blissful both times. The accommodation is rustic, colourful, comfortable, and the amenities worked well. The gardens are immaculately kept and yield much of the food for the restaurant. Much appreciation of the staff in both regards - they are very professional and highly skilled. Many different types of yoga are offered and if you stay, you can go to your choice of class... and then jump in the beautiful salt-water pool. Pretty luxurious!
More than anything, Desa Seni exudes peace, happiness and a nice community feel. Many thanks everyone xo

Room Tip: I always book the house with the shared living space as it's right next to the pool.
