Another great stay here! Great value accommodation for our kite surfing holiday. Good hot water which is essential after a day out on the water and lots of nice touches. Gives you flexibility to cook at home or eat out. Vaa is such a fantastic host and goes out of his way to ensure you have a fantastic stay as well as showing you each shop of the island and what they sell if you want to self cater.
This is our second time to the beach villas and won't be our last.
One thing perhaps to just comment on is the mattresses could do with updating but other than this everything was just great!
A few tips:
1) bring a few jars of pesto or something you like so you can dine in if you're keen not to spend $$$ every night.
2) buy some of Sonya's coconut bread (she's down the road) and fruit for breakfast. It's delicious.
3) Go the Pacific resort for a feed as although a resort the food really is great.
4) even if you're not a kitesurfer visit honeymoon and one foot as so beautiful.

Excellent review and feedback for future guests.

Our villas are self-catering and you can cook yourself, put on the BBQ or take a beach stroll to nearby resort/restaurants for a meal.

We have a lot of kite-surfers guests and spending time on honeymoon island for the events.

A few of our guests do mentioned and recommend Sonya's little home cafe where you can have a nice coffee & cakes, fruits etc breakfast and lunch - Sonya's (also known as Tauono's) style.

Thanks again and we look foward to see you again.

Best regards

We stayed here in two villas with another family. Absolutely loved it. So relaxing and beautiful. Vaa was truly awesome host. We loved snorkeling and kayaking. If you dont have kids you should hire a scooter. We were able to walk most places for dinner, alcohol, take out. Villas are self catering. We enjoyed eating out at nearby restaurants. Especially enjoyed the Cultural night at nearby resort ehich although not cheap was a highlight for everyone. If you are looking for a relaxing beautiful get away from it all, you will enjoy it here. Note if you are a light sleeper easily woken by roosters crowing, and this is important to you, then you might reconsider. The whole island is covered in roosters that crow at all hours. However they didn't bother us and we feel blessed to have experienced this little piece of paradise.

Hi There,

Wonderful review and thank you for the good feedback for others.

Vaa is always caring for his guests and he goes the extra mile in getting things organise for guests.

We are well centered within vicinity of other bigger resorts/restaurants, but secluded and enjoy vacation directly on the beach in clean beach batches/bungalows. You can cook in house if you wish or put something on the BBQ or dine out at nearby resorts and restaurants within 3-6 minutes stroll along the beach (yes it can be a bit pricy!!).

Renting a motor bike or scooter is always the easy and comfortable of getting around the island but motor car rentals are also available.

Our roosters are always around - a local citizen that keeps telling the time all night. After a night or two you will just forget about the rooster - enjoy yourself and don't let it ruin your holiday. It is all over the pacific islands.

Thanks again for the good review and we look forward to see in Aitutaki again.

Our best wishes.

Myself and my partner stayed for four nights. It was like being in paradise - peaceful and tranquil. Amazing views and great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the location. Just a short walk from a few bars and a good walk into the main part of the island we made the most of the peace and quiet.

My stay at Aitutaki Beach Villas was top notch from arrival to departure. The villas are located on a great beach with everything you need for a relaxing tropical holiday. Vaa was a legend and provided friendly thoughtful service, he deserves a pay rise! I'd recommend ABV to anyone looking to experience what the Cook Islands are all about.

Room Tip: All 4 villas are great. Beachfront is best for sunsets.

Perfect location and set up for a family of four or 2 couples. Large deck, good kitchen and plenty of space with good furniture.
You will need a car to do the daily shopping run if you are self catering because there are no shops in walking distance and you often have to go to more than one shop to get basic things like a cabbage or a tomato but that's part of the charm.
The snorkeling off the beach is ok if you are happy to swim the 600 meters or so to the edge of the lagoon else it's pretty murky. A good snorkeling spot is about 500 meters north at the end of the old runway. You can even get to the ocean side of the reef through a passage if you are brave and know what you are doing .
The sunsets are always fantastic and there are a couple of ok restaurants nearby. The villas have everything you need so hard to pull yourself away :-)

Thank you beautiful families,

Thanks you for the excellent review.

Your story is very useful for our future guests especially for shopping and stocking up for your own (Cook your own if you wish) or you can dine out at nearby hotel restaurants - just within walking distance. Do not forget the refrigerator is a bonus so you can pack all goods that you need.

This is an alternative accommodation to hotels.

Will see again families in the near future hopefully.
