Not a buffet, there’s is some combo. The sushi are really good and teriyaki are really good and it’s cheap.

Been there several times- changed owners? A run of the mill buffet- bland dishes- limited selection/variety. When first opened was very good- Mongolian cooking table/sushi station many different foods. Now limited foods- sushi y Mongolian area closed. Late opening on lunches-11 am (30 min late) 11:30. They do have a bar/drinks at extra cost. Still clean -good for the Costa Ricans to experience what a buffet is-- poor to American standards. Nice to feed a bunch of people- not a destination meal/dinner experience.
This restaurant is located in downtown San José, and it does not have a parking area, so you need to park on a nearby parking spot 100 m away, which is not too bad. You pay as you enter, $14 during weekends, but half that price during weekdays.
There is plenty of variety of the food, but one thing I didn't like is the temperature: it is barely warm. The taste overall is good, but they should improve the way food is kept at an excellent condition. I tried lots of dishes with vegetables, chicken, beef and shrimp, and all of them tasted good. There are dessert options, also good, and some sushi, which is average. But overall, you get full with one or two trips to the bar, and I would say I was satisfied.
If you want to try many dishes and find out which one you like the most, this is the spot. But if you already know what to have, there are many other chinese places where you can get great food a la carte, which may be better.
and plenty of variety. Welcoming staff very clean and you are not rushed by anyone to leave which has happened at other places.
This establishment does an excellent job of serving up the fruits, vegetables meats and fish available here in Costa Rica. This has become a very popular eatery in the year I have been going to it. Weekdays is it filled with government office workers and downtown business people. Weekends it has wonderful parties of Ticos out for celebrations. The staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. The price is very stiff but it is downtown San Jose. But even if I am dreading the price I never go away feeling nothing but ¡tranquilo y felicidad!
