This is a medium to large tourist hotel situated in a reasonably convenient location for the airport and the city.
Built almost exclusively of concrete it has a look that could have become dated quickly but manages to survive reasonably well.
The design is definitely quirky and any students of architecture would love the place.
At the time we stayed, fully two thirds of the place had been closed due to covid. And half a dozen rooms were being renovated.
The place has had to cut costs to survive covid no doubt. Strangely enough when I looked up the WHO data for 2020, 16% of the world died of heart disease and 0.3% of covid. Look it up if you don't believe it.
I hope it was worth the destruction of local economies around the world.
- the rooms to be quiet.
- the rooms to be clean.
We also found:
- the ice machines were turned off.
- the breakfast to be of mixed quality. Some things were great... other things not so much.
- the location while convenient will probably be easiest if you have your own car.More
