We tot a upgrade form a Standard room to a room with a view. When we wanted to play the bill only cash payment was possible or a surcharge of 6% was added to the bill paying nu card. Shame to you cabinas Jimenez!

On our Web Site, it does state that with the use of a Credit card, there is a charge of 6%. And we are pleased to hear that you appreciated the upgrade from a standard room to a Waterfront Cabina with a private deck and a kitchen.

We really enjoyed our time at Cabinas Jimenez. It was a great spot to relax and use as a base for our outdoor activities in the osa Peninsula. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Cabinas jimenez is the best hotel in town! You cannot beat the location, and the amenities they offer sweeten the stay. We loved taking the free kayaks out onto the bay where we were able to watch bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat. The free bikes make it easy to navigate the town or peddle to a nearby beach. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us and ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

Great collection of rooms, many with outside areas, attractively laid out looking out onto the sea. Our room had a large outside balcony with kitchen which had fantastic views. Loads of birds around the cabins - cherry tanagers, scarlet macaws etc in trees by our cabin. Free use of 4 kayaks and some bikes in a nice touch. A couple of mins walk takes you into main street with shops and restaurants. A 15 min drive (4x4 needed!) takes you to a great beach called Playa Platanares. Reception desk really helpful with any questions you have. Highly recommend this lovely place.

We stayed here a few weeks ago before and after our hike into Corcovado. It was great - the staff was very accommodating and gracious. We used their kayaks and went into a mangrove swamp . We also used their bikes to get around Puerto Jiminez and get to the super and back. Can't say enough nice things about this place and their staff. they only downside was the loud disco music from a nearby bar. I felt like I was at Bonnaroo or Coachella sometimes.

Thank you for your great review. ! I also think that the Staff is wonderful. We are glad to hear that you took good advantage of the free use of the kayaks and bikes. And now.. that Disco, across the water, is now closed. Happy days. Hope to see you again, in Puerto Jimenez
