This hotel is close to Antonio Manuel Park. You can take a bus to the park. The hotel was close to the road so some people were bothered by road noise and rascally monkeys on the roof of their room but the hotel generously moved them to another room. There are two swimming pools and the wifi and air conditioning was fantastic.

Lovely hotel - beautifully landscaped, plenty of local art, very nice restaurant and bar. Easy access to local bus Manuel Antonio Park, beaches, Quepes. Good restaurants within easy walking distance. Grocery store and a couple small shops close by. Comfortable rooms, all convenient to a pool. Lots of animals in the gardens - some up close and personal but fun to observe. Like every hotel or inn we experienced in Costa Rica, the rooms would benefit from a bit more lighting but the furnishings were lovely and it was very clean. Our room had comfy chairs just outside and in shade but the pool was also just 10 steps away. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate - plenty of fresh fruit and juice. A nice restaurant, reasonably priced creative menu if you choose to not venture out after dark for dinner. Be careful driving at night - very twisty, hilly, unlit road. Taking the local bus is easy and cheap.

There is a school just left of the entrance so there can be a bit of noise when school is starting but we didn't find it disturbing. The howler monkeys on the other hand were an effective alarm clock

We had a room backing on to a lovely clear lapping pool, long and thin. We were in the room nearest the road but did not have a problem with noise. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but had breakfast that was a bit basic. Dry scrambled eggs are never good, nor is soggy toast. Several restaurants are close by and we tried Sanchos and the Falafel bar. Much preferring the latter. Very comfortable room and lighting was fine once we got the hang of the dimmer system! Three mixed up dimmer devices. Walk in wet room was a good feature.

The hotel room, 302, was incredibly dark with 2 lamps and an overhead light providing no proper lighting to see anything. There is one window facing the pool, but no sunlight gets in. The room smelled damp and of mildew, each time I walked out of the room, my clothes smelt. The bed was comfortable and nice water temperature for the shower, although low pressure. The AC was good and needed to help with the smell. The breakfast was terrible and don't even think of going late or you'll get rolled cold cuts, left over OJ, and darkening pineapple. Bad coffee and the espresso machine didn't work. Low strength wifi. The front desk woman had a horrible attitude and greeted us only by stating "you can't check in until 3, you can go to the pool." They had not place to put our bags while we waited, which was scary. Would not recommend.

Room Tip: would not recommend.

We were allocated a lovely room with access straight out to the small pool which was beautifully uplit at night. The hotel covers quite a large area but is planted with tropical trees and gardens. There is another larger pool with surrounding rooms. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Bus stop nearby was useful for exploring.
