We rented this for our family vacation and never wanted to leave!! The house exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, contemporary, clean and the view was stunning. We always feel that we have to ration our towels while on vacation as there never seems to be enough – NOT here! I was so elated to find an entire closest devoted to 40+ clean fluffy towels, with a family of five the towels go quickly. The views from both patios were heavenly and the beds were very comfortable.

We walked to the beach each morning and spent most of the days there. The tide had fun waves for our boogie board attempts, there were plenty of chairs for beach lounging and beach toys for the kids. The margarita I had was perfect.

We had some fabulous meals all within a couple of blocks of the property. We loved Café Milagro for great coffee and breakfast, Sanchos for lunch and Barba Roja for a fun dinner with live music. When we travel I look for a property close to the fun while remaining safe and quite at night and Casa Panorama has it all!

Kimberly the concierge was the perfect match for this property. She was so enthusiastic and professional. She immediately welcomed us with warmth and fabulous tips for eating and shopping. During our stay she continued to check in with us to ensure all of our needs were met. She has a wonderful energy that compliments this beautiful home and location. I would recommend Casa Panorama South to ANYONE for a wonderful vacation

Hi Wendy O.....thanks for the great review on Casa Panorama.....Tulemar....and Kimberly....your personal concierge.......we're glad that you enjoyed your time with us......having a beach right at our resort really does make a big difference......you can easily walk down every day and enjoy the beach......free lounge chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, boogie boards, towel service and food/beverages....right there......and having a personal concierge like Kim takes the guess work out of choosing the right place to eat or picking a great tour......thanks for booking with us and we'd love to have you with us again!

Thanks to Dave and Muricio and staff my family and I enjoyed the royal treatment that comes with staying at Casa De Frutas in Tulemar, a gated community, in Manuel Antonio. When you first step into the magnificent open air home you feel the warmth and beauty of the Bali furnishings. Take a few steps and you will be wowed by the panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean with her beautiful sunsets! The home is nestled in the hills of the rainforest so nature's environment offers lush and green foliage, flowering plants and the sounds that come from insects and animals who live among us. We would cool down in the infinity pool watching the the tucans eating berries from the trees above us. Tulemar offers a beautiful sandy and private beach on the ocean. There is complimentary use of kayaks, boogie boards, lounge chairs and umbrellas as you soak up the sun's rays. My favorite is the beach bar and restaurant where Chef Paul and his assistant Lou cook up a delicious breakfast or lunch along with the speciality drinks. It is the most relaxing place as you watch the tide come and go.
Professional concierge, Mauricio, attends to your every wish in that he handles all the reservations for restaurants and tours and recommends great ideas like white water rafting, canopy ride, deep sea fishing, buggy ride to the waterfalls, mangrove boat ride and escorted tour of Manuel Antonio National Park the second largest and busiest park in Costa Rica.
You will be amazed at the beauty of the grounds, home, views and pampering received at Casa De Frutas. I'm excited to return.

Hi Cheryl....wow....thank you so much for the wonderful review of your stay in Casa de Frutas.....our "Bali style" villa in Tulemar.....many of the furnishings and artifacts (as well as the design ideas) came from our trips to Bali.....the villa was featured in an issue of "Su Casa" magazine as well.....and the panoramic ocean views really are "breathtaking"....Mauricio, your personal concierge, just adds to the total package....we're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we'd love to see you and your family back again!

We highly recommend Tulemar as a vacation destination for families. We stayed in the Casa Panorama which was even more beautiful than the pictures on the website. Our boys loved the private beach, playing on the boogie boards, kayaking, and snorkeling which was all available for our use. We saw more monkeys and sloths in Tulemar than in Manuel Antonio National Park. We were impressed with the 1st class service provided by Diego and Bill who checked in every day to make sure that we were having a great time. They made arrangements for activities such as white water rafting. As a mom, I felt relaxed and pampered. We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed longer with all of the activities in the area. Another family that we spoke with had wished that they spent more time at Tulemar than other places on their vacation.

Room Tip: We stayed at Upper Casa Panorama which was awesome.

Hi LindaT7......thanks for your great review on Casa Panorama, Tulemar and your concierges, Diego and Bill......we're so glad that you enjoyed your stay......a week's stay is perfect.....lots of time to relax, enjoy the area's activities, the villa and our beach......we hear the same comment a lot.....people wish they had more time here instead of spending 2 nights in one area and driving to another for a 2-3 night stay......thanks for taking the time to post this review and we hope to have you with us again!

We came to Tulemar for our honeymoon in August, and we were so depressed to leave. Everything was SO BEAUTIFUL- while the pictures online are gorgeous, they do not do it justice. We stayed in Casa Panaroma South and the view was seriously amazing. Full panoramic views of the ocean with a very private and secluded feeling. There was a grill on the deck which we took advantage of one night. Kimberly was our concierge and she was so welcoming from the start. She met us at our house and helped us check in, drove us around the grounds, and even took us to the local grocery store to stock up! She was available for us 24/7 and helped us book an awesome zip lining tour. She was so fabulous!

The private beach was the best. We spent many days down there. The ocean water was as warm as the air, and we took advantage of the free boogie boards. One day, about 20 squirrel monkeys came down and played all around. It was so fun! The restaurants around were delicious as well. We would recommend Agua Azul which had a great view and delicious salsa and guacamole. Also, check out Angels if you want typical Costa Rican cuisine.

My husband has traveled all around including visiting beachs in Bali and Thailand, and he said this was the best beach he had ever been to b/c the water was so warm and the rainforest surrounded the beach. I HIGHLY recommend going to Tulemar as soon as you can and staying in Casa Panaroma South. You will not be disappointed and will leave very rested and well-fed.

Hi JABO825.....I'm sitting here with a big smile on my face after reading your review of Casa Panorama, Kimberly and Tulemar......thanks for taking the time to write.....I know people are sometimes leery of the photos or descriptions we make on our web site......(rightfully so).....and that's why I love reviews such as yours.....letting those people know it is true! Casa Panorama is one of our most popular villas.....the design, the location and the amazing ocean views.....plus the personal concierge service from Kimberly......and our beach is great......surrounded by palms/jungle.....you don't even see the other parts of Tulemar.....just the feeling of a remote, tropical paradise.....thanks for staying with us on your honeymoon and we would love to have you back again!

Beautiful grounds on this property. Very expansive and spread out. We had a nice view of the sunset. I wouldn't recommend this property for those with bad knees or poor cardiovascular health since there is a lot of windy and steep paths. If it wasn't for my shoulder problem I would have enjoyed some fitness runs around the property! No main central reception area or onsite restaurant (excpet lunch at the beach bar) but each room comes with a concierge (great service), however another service where you feel inclined to tip- as well as shuttles to the beach and back (we walked down and shuttled back up). If you don't have the time or energy you need to depend on the shuttles to get you around the property, but they are pretty efficient. Very central location in Manuel Antonio- walk to restaurants and a favorite local restaurant, Milagros. Tulemar is only as quiet as your neighbors are. Patio door was the entrance to the room but on inch off the ground so insects were always welcomed. We had to throw towels down to close the space which didn't completely work. In room safe was on the floor inside a very small closet. our kitchenette wasn't completely equipped so we had a wish list after check-in.Overall a very nice property- ideal for families, especially if you plan on visiting Manuel Antonio Park. We would return if we get a great price and have another couple share a larger condo/casita.

Room Tip: It's worth getting a bungalow with a balcony. Ask for sunset view. it's beautiful!

Hi MDZair....thanks for staying with us and for writing a review of your stay....we're so happy that you enjoyed yourselves......the sunset views are amazing from Tulemar......just to clarify a few items that you may have missed.....we do have a large, 4 story, central reception and office building right at the entrance to Tulemar.....that is where my desk is....on the balcony overlooking the entryway... (I love that space and people always stop and say "hi"!).......and we do serve breakfast and lunch daily at our beach bar and grill.....plus we have two restaurants outside of Tulemar that deliver "room service" dining.....and there are 10 restaurants within 2 blocks of our front gates.....lots of choices.....I'm sorry that our concierge did not provide all of that information.......our JR Suites (where you stayed) all have mini-bars.....not kitchens.....our larger accommodations have full kitchens......I'm so sorry about the gap under the doors.....that is a problem....and we will check it out immediately......again....thanks for staying with us and we'd love to have you back....in a larger villa....with a kitchen......and a nice, large balcony!
