You may find cheaper hotels around but the San Bada hotel is something worth to pay and get much more.
Beautiful looking, good restaurant, great location at park Manuel Antonio entrance and minutes walking from beach.
Have their own guarded parking lot and operated by very kind and helpful staff.
Worth the price!

The location of San Bada is perfect, its door is just next to the Manuel Antonio National Park. It is also 5-minutes' walk away from the public beach.

Not busy, especially during the low season. We often had the pool to ourselves.

The rooms can use some renovation.

Room Tip: You want to stay here if you don't drive.

My mother, sister and I visited Costa Rica and opted to stay in one place for a relaxing 30th bday celebration. We had a blast at Hotel San Bada. All the individuals who work there are friendly, attentive and helpful. The sushi roll with the roasted almonds was incredible; we had it twice since we mostly stayed at the 6th floor pool. The rooms are a bit outdated but the location makes this place a gem. We ventured up the hill and went to the $12 zip adventure and walked to Milagro café. We were told to go to Selina’s for dancing and Ronny’s place for good eats. Neither of which we tried, but we did another zip lining with El Santuario canopy adventure (totally worth it)!!! If you go to the Manuel Antonio park and intend on seeing wild life I encourage getting a guide. On the other hand if you’re intention is to go to the beaches only, make sure you do not pack a radio or packaged foods(fruits or sandwiches only). You can’t go wrong with the fruits sold outside the park or by the beach by the street vendors. We tried mamones chinos for the first time... amazing. The beach is down the street from the hotel and wildlife is everywhere from monkeys to tucans to parakeets and frogs. We also had an amazing experience at Sana spa at the hotel. Stay at San Bada and enjoy.

A very nice and clean hotel, perfect located, next to the national park and close to the beach. The breakfast buffet is delicious like all the other meals in the restaurants and the service team is more than friendly and welcoming. Girardo, a lovely person, always helped us if there was any question or gave us advices what to do around the area.
Christhin mostly worked at night when we went to the restaurant, always friendly and helpful even if it was stressful or she was in a kind of rush. Was always nice to talk to her when we met her by accident somewhere in the hotel.
Especialmente gracias a los dos!
Muchas gracias por todo, disfrutamos nuestro tiempo en eso hotel.
