We had a big room, great air conditioning and enjoyed seeing the monkeys around the pool in the back! Only drawback was food not really onsite but down the road. Loved the hotel dog. Staff was nice helping us with a tour on a catamaran to go snorkeling.

Loved this hotel! Our suite was spacious and beautiful. Our private patio overlooked the 2 swimming pools and the forest beyond. We saw monkeys and Macaws right on the property, and a family of Howler monkeys entertained us from across the street in front of the hotel. The service was excellent, and the grounds were gorgeous, especially the lounge seating area. Breakfast was included and offered eight choices. The pools were a great place to relax after a long day of sight seeing, and to meet others staying in the hotel. We got some of our best advice that way! The hotel had a great location. A short drive to Quepos and San Manuel Antonio Preserve. For dinner, we walked half a block to the Gaia Resort for a fabulous sunset dinner. One of the best views in town, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in the area.

Excellent staff catering to every need. Terrific breakfast included in room rate - several dishes to choose from. Two swimming pools - one lap pool and one splash pool. Our room had cooking facilities and an outside seating area for watching the daily visits from the troupes of squirrel monkeys. Very close to several excellent restaurants, including the Italian on site. Definitely a "must visit" if planning a trip to Manuel Antonio.

Room Tip: We needed an accessible room for my wife so just request when you make the booking

What a lovely spot! A friend and I spent three nights at Hotel Plaza Yara and we're thrilled with our stay. Great staff (Jonathan was wonderful!), huge rooms, spotless, quiet. We loved spending our afternoons on the patio watching the local wildlife put on shows. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: We stayed in apartment 1, which gave us a lot of privacy with view to the pool.
