Owner description: Our tour is recreational and not for competition. Our first responsibility to our clients is to ensure their safety from the moment that they leave their hotels in our transport vehicle. When we arrive, we begin with a brief explanation on how to drive our Honda ATVs, afterwards, we take you on a practice run so that you can learn to drive our Honda ATVs in the safest way possible, without taking the fun out of it of course! This is an adventure tour.

ATV TOUR! This is a must do TOUR while in Manuel Antonio! We were picked up at 10 a.m. via shuttle by the tour at our hotel. We then proceeded to another hotel and picked up a family of 5, so there were only 7 people total in our tour. We were shuttled to Quepos where their office is and paid for our tour. We were then off in the shuttle again for another 30 minutes to the actual tour. Ivan was our tour guide. He was phenomenal and very informative! We got to test out the ATVs and then off we went through the plush greens/palms and through waters galore. We ended up at a rainforest after riding for 45 min, where we got to walk over some suspended bridges and swim in a waterfall. We also saw poisonous snakes- life threatening. Again, Ivan was an awesome and very funny tour guide. We then got back on the ATVs and traveled another 25 min or so back. The scenery on the ATV tour is awesome. Not only is it remote and mountainous, but you really see the everyday life of people who live in Costa Rica. They provide you with lunch. YUMMY! We had chicken, rice and beans, salad and plantains. The young boy, Albert was a great host too!
Note: Cost: $95 individual ATV, $125 for a double.
Then it was back on the shuttle and off to La Mariposa for our last sunset of the trip!

My dad and I went to Quepos/Manuel Antonio towards the end of the wet season last weekend (11/14/10), and thought it would be good enough conditions to scuba dive. Well, someone at work recomended Oceans Unlimited for diving and if not then ATV tours with Roberto. I have dove all over the world and wanted to do some diving but I'll tell you honestly, the ATV Quad adventure was more fun. The condidions were muddy which was fun for ATV's and the tour guide Roberto was incredible. We rode through the palms that encompass 32,000 acres there and produce palm oil. Roberto was educating us on everything. We were provided water and a private lunch which was cooked by the staff in the jungle. It was the best meal I ate in Costa Rica. Roberto took us through "The Rainmaker" jungle and we saw dangerous ants, plants, centipedes and venemous eyelash viper snakes. We crossed a suspension bridge and got to rinse off in a beautiful waterfall. The tour lasted 4 hours! I am already planning another trip down with my kids now. If you do go please request Roberto and tell him we said hi?

I got there very nervous as it was my first time...We took a few practice turns and I figured I could do this...We drove our ATVs through a palm tree plantation then took a beautiful hike (not too long :)) up to a waterfall...It was just like in the movies...
Roberto, our guide, has helpful, funny and patient...He introduced us to many different plants and even a poisonous frog !! We would recommend a tour with him hands down !!
Any questions, feel free to write to us,
Michelle and Ben

There are ATV tours almost everywhere you go in Costa Rica, but we heard that Manuel Antonio was the place to do it and it was the truth! We had a great guide, Roberto, who took us through the palm plantations, and with our request, through all the mud and water puddles we could find! After a good amount of offroading we arrived at the waterfall where we hiked for a short bit then got to get in and swim. The great part about this was the whole hike to the waterfall was almost as gorgeous as the waterfall, amazing landscape! And the waterfall has a side smaller waterfall that is the size of a large hottub that is much more accessible and better to swim in! The lunch when we got back was the best we have had on a tour so far! Overall this was a great tour, great tour guide, ask for Roberto!, and we met great people doing it!
