We didn't look into this enough before we went.
It's a lovely place. Delicious food with asian flair unavailable anywhere else, attentive English-speaking staff, prices listed in U.S. dollars, lovely ambiance.
We had a somewhat awkward experience in that we were under-dressed and under-aged. My husband and I went at the end of our day as an adventure but hadn't read much about Ginger. Our taxi driver had recommended it. As tourists on a somewhat limited budget, in our 30s, wearing our shorts and tanks, we didn't fit it. Every other patron was well-dressed and at least 50 years old. We ate well, but we left as quickly as we could. I will say that everyone around us seemed to be having an amazing time although no Costa Rican patrons were in attendance.
