Got a vegetable plate and tea here and all was good, but the pinto beans were outstanding. Great flavor, tender, but not cooked to mush. Husband had red beans and rice and broccoli and cheese. Both were very good. Bill totaled $21-ish. You go through a line cafeteria-style and are served whatever you request from the serving line. Didn't have room for dessert, but the selection sounded wonderful. Old building. Nothing impressive. Waitresses in t-shirts and shorts. Nothing fancy, but good regular ol' Southern cooking.

Great food. I have been eating at Joel's for approximately 5 years. Great meat and three at a reasonable price.

Best meat and 3! Great fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and fried okra! My husband loves their chicken and dressing!

A varied menu with lots of daily vegetables. A local establushment and although the food is very good, it is priced too high for me to frequent on a regular basis. My price comparison is to Cracker Barrel.
