...without a meal at one of the Din Tai Fung outposts in the 'Paris of the East'. The traditional Shanghai 'soup dumpling' is simply not to be missed during a stay here. Dined at the Portman location for a business lunch and could easily see how the chain garnered a Michelin star. Boisterous atmosphere, so not a choice for a quiet meal, it's nonetheless one of the best things to eat in the city. Highly recommended.
