Can’t beat the location in the heart of the city. But it seems to be overconfident on the location. The service and decorations need improvements. Rooms can take new carpets and curtains. Front desk can be more considerate and attentive to guests.

This is a nice hotel. It is perfectly located just off Nanjing Rd. Checking in was easy and problem free. The staff was kind and helpful for the duration of our trip. Traveling with my wife and eight-year old daughter, we reserved a room with two beds. Despite the the spacious room size, the hotel does not have rooms with two queens in it, which made it tight for my wife and me, but our daughter slept quite comfortably. The air conditioning/heating unit didn't respond to any of the temperature adjustments, so the room was a bit warm. The hotel stocks the room with two complimentary bottles of water daily, anything more requires payment. The bathroom was very spacious and it had big, plush towels that we liked very much. The swimming pool was large and clean.

I would happily stay here again great location with easy access to the subway. Rooms are clean, big with space to work and a large bath. The breakfast was also good with a mixture of western dishes which was a nice change.

Excellent hotel, great location one minute walking from Nanjing walking street, staff speak English, very nice and cosy lobby, room is big and comfortable, public areas of the hotel are nice, breakfast is served in the main lobby

only bad thing is the air condition in the room which was noisy

excellent value for money

This was my first trip to Shanghai, and this hotel really helped me to know shanghai inside out.. We only need to cross a street to go to Nanjing east pedestrian where all the restaurants and shoppings were. Only 5-6 blocks away from The Bund, it is not far especially with all the shops along the way. Convinient stores right behind the door. Very comfy.
