We were amazed at how hard it was to find good vegetarian food in China - so when we read about this restaurant we knew we had to check it out. It was hard to find as it's not really on the street that its advertised as being on - its actually down an alley across from a hotel entrance. The staff don't speak much english at all but the menu has pictures and pretty good english translations.
We ordered the spareribs, which are absolutely amazing - kung-pal chicken which was good, green beans, noodles and a really good hot & sour soup that was made with coconut milk, which was absolutely amazing!
Prices are pretty good - expensive by Shanghai standards but worth it.
Oh and remember that there is no alcohol for some reason - so prepare for that. Lots of other choices though - highly recommended!!!
