I stayed here for 5 nights. The resort is about 2.5 to 3 hours drive from Nadi and about 1 hr from Suva on the beautiful Coral Coast. There are two accommodation buildings, the old and the new. I got a room on the second floor in the new building overlooking the gardens at the front of the building. The other side faces the river. I was pleasantly surprised with my beautiful room, not huge but still plenty of room. King size bed. Private balcony. The best designed shower ever. The bathroom has a makeup mirror and hairdryer. AC was good. Lighting in the room very good, and there's a reading light in your bed. The grounds are beautifully manicured and it's a pleasure to walk around. Food choices are very good, lots of vege items, and there are three restaurants and several bars. Good coffee available. The pool area is nice with a bar also. Staff are quiet friendly, especially reception area and housekeeping, however the bar staff seem unhappy and don't really smile much, greet you or acknowledge your attendance and ask if you want a drink. Bar service in the river bar can also sometimes be quite slow when it's busy. Happy hour is for 2 hours and really good - a staff member bangs on a big bell thing to let you know it's started! The drinks otherwise are a bit expensive. Right on the beach and good for a quick dip in the ocean. I booked a treatment in the day spa which was nice but im not sure they're entirely experienced or have skills we are used to in Australia. The old building is still nice and has a bit more of a Fijian feel to it but smelt misty in the hallways. Directly over the road are a couple of mini marts for drinks and snacks. Every day they place a resort info sheet about things to do and special messages for the following day. Overall a lovely, affordable resort. You don't have to go anywhere else but stay, rest and relax. I'd stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon around Fiji - we'd chosen this place as we wanted to do the Beqa Shark Dive.
Our room was one of the more expensive suites but was in the older part of the hotel and was generally not very clean. We asked the reception for an extra clean which they agreed to but it didn't seem to help.
The staff were helpful though and friendly when we bumped into them around the hotel. However service was very slow at dinner in the main restaurant with waitresses not attending the tables on time. Bar staff were very nice though and the singer was good at happy hour.
Despite us telling the hotel it was our honeymoon we weren't given anything complimentary unlike other hotels we stayed in on that trip.

We stayed two nights in the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour during our honeymoon trip across Fiji. We mentioned in our reservation we were on Honeymoon and got a free upgrade to a nicer room in the new wing and received a complimentary 30' massage voucher - a great gesture that definitely made our stay memorable!

The hotel's new wing is beautiful and the rooms have all luxury you need. They overlook the marina and all have a nice balcony. There are plenty of options to eat with three restaurants and the breakfast buffet has a great range of food !

The swimming pool area looks a bit dated and could use a fresh coat of paint but in general the resort looks well maintained. The air conditioning in the gym did not seem to work and there is no bike and just one treadmill.

We found it great value for money in Fiji and perfect for our short stay!

Room Tip: Try to book in the new wing, the old rooms looked very dated

The Pearl is a very luxurious hotel.
The service is great and the staff very friendly.
The dive centers are just at the other Side of the road.

Breakfast is in buffet Style and you can order extra's like scrammbled eggs or so.

Not the cheapest place, but good value for your money.

I highly recommend The Pearl. It is such a nice resort, the people are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean. If you are staying in Pacific Harbour, the Pearl is the place to stay! Also, use Tour Managers located at the Pearl to book any of your activities. They are very helpful and provide excellent service.
