My husband and I stayed at the Rocky Mount B&B in September of 2007 and had an absolutely perfect stay. The house itself was georgeous, well-maintained and in a lovely location. Isolated a bit down a side road, but close enough to the main highway and the Interstate that getting around was no trouble, even at night.
The staff was gracious and very accomodating of us. This was for our Twelfth Anniversary so I had gone all out and requested the chocolate-covered strawberries and wine on arrival, a candlelight dinner for the evening and a massage for each of us after a whitewater canoe trip and horseback riding outing planned for the next day. The staff helped arrange everything, set up times, arranged the bookings at all the various places, and did everything they could to see to it our expectations were met or exceeded.
It was marvelous. The strawberries were fresh and delicious, hand-made in the kitchen, the candlelight dinner was beautiful. Just the two of us alone in the front room with the fine china, soft music, and fantastic food. The directions to the outings were clear and the outings themselves all we were promised.
It couldn't have been a better trip and I would *definitely* go again.
