My wife and I checked in last night, 27th Sept. We found that the Double Deluxe Room was a bit small. When I went to ask for an upgrade to a bigger room which I was prepared to pay for the difference in price, I was given an outright 'no' to upgrade. Also, the reception would not allow us to look at a bigger room. Didn't know the hotel was not interested to make more money.
Very disappointed with this snobbish hotel.
I would strongly not recommend this hotel to anyone.
What a snob.

Rooms, cleanliness, amenities are wonderful but honestly I cannnot get over the long wait to check in. We came in a big group and booked 10 rooms. Only one room was available to check in which we did. Sooooo all 21 ladies dumped their luggage in that suite and set out till 8pm to experience the sights. We returned at 8pm and the rooms were not ready yet! We loiter around the lobby and eventually decide to eat at the hotel's restaurant to kill time. Eventually at 9.20pm the remaining 9 rooms were finally ready.
No representative from the hotel approached us or give alternative suggestions for the day. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm and we only manage to rest in the rooms after 9pm. Customer service is very bad. The reason provided was that they had full occupancy and some guests checked out late. I paid money to literally walk around aimlessly at the hotel lobby.

The only saving grace was the comfortable bed and the level of cleanliness. Customer service was poor. Very very poor.

We loved how Estadia is conveniently located next to the Mega-mall and accessible via a link bridge, how it is also considerably walking distance to Jonker street (about 10-15min) and suited our itinerary very well.

We had 11 of us for a company retreat. All of us had good review of this hotel for the one-night stay.

The rooms were small but were really new, nicely decorated (with a peranakan concept) and provided the necessary we asked for. The deluxe rooms even had connecting doors.

I last stayed in Mahkota in June and the experience was truly disappointing (foul smell, stain, non-carpeted, broken toilet seat). Estadia experience was on the other end of the spectrum, absolutely positive despite it being a 3-star (as I was told).

We didn't have time to visit the gym but we did breakfast at the hotel. The spread was reasonably good and seats were plenty.

Didn't have much of hassle moving around Melaka since we left most of our things with the concierge before checking in and after checking out, which was very helpful.

Perhaps, what could be improved - The lifts do not tell if they have arrived without a prominent signal. The lobby stretched across 4 lifts. At times, a hotel crew will be there to signal us to board the lift on the extreme end, otherwise we will be guessing and blindly waiting for one still.

We have always stayed in Hatten when ever we come to Melaka. We decided to try this smaller hotel and no regrets. The room was small but comfortable. The breakfast spread was ok but would be good if the staff replenish more frequently. The gym was small but clean. Overall we will stay again for our future trips.

Hi,
Hotel stay were good as it was our 3rd stay already. We skip the hotel breakfast n went for Roti Canai just outside the hotel. It was super good breakfast. Location was superb for this hotel. Everything was walking distant n book a grab was convenient too. There's a mall that's connected and sadly all the shops were closed and it became a zombie mall. Overall hotel stay n staff were all good. We will comeback for sure.
