I don't know why i am giving even single star to this hotel, may be due to its location. I stayed there with my 2 friends (all males) and we decided to have lunch in the hotel's restaurant. This was our biggest mistake. The staff was not attentive at all. After waiting for almost 30 minutes there was no one to attend us. Even when i asked to one of the waiter, he told me in a very rude tone that we have to wait for another 1/2 an hour or if we are in hurry then we can go and have our lunch somewhere else. I mean this is how you guys treat your guests.
in the evening one of us called the reception and asked to deliver water bottle to our room. The bottles they delivered was not even seal packed. Might be they took some old bottles, filled it from somewhere and delivered us. This was seriously ridiculous.

will never consider this hotel again.

We stayed here as 2 young females (early twenties) at the end of Feb '15. I honestly couldn't rate this hotel highly enough. We stayed on an all inclusive basis.
The room is very clean and tidy, a good size, and ours had a separate sitting area with a fridge, which was stocked with a few soft drinks and beers which were complimentary. We were a little taken aback at the basic ness of the room at first, but after we had some sleep after the long journey, we grew to love it. The room was cleaned every day, and the housekeeper was very friendly and did a great job.
The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. The breakfast, served as a buffet, includes approx 6/7 dishes, some Indian, aswell as toast and jam, and an omelette station, and you can order any style of eggs also.
The lunch is fantastic, the staff bring around a menu and the food is served to you, no buffet, is a proper sit down meal, and there are 3 courses, and approx 4/5 options for main, including curries and English dishes.
The dinner was also exceptional, the menu is much larger now, and there are so many courses and dishes on it, that we didn't get to sample everything we wanted to. The selection is fantastic, lots of curries, kebabs, English dishes, Mexican, salads, etc.
There is also a chinese/Thai restaurant, which was amazing as well, again the menu is huge, and we would have had to of stayed for months to try every dish available!
If you're still hungry, there are a few samosas etc kicking about at about 3/4 o'clock.
The drinks were great too, lots of selection, large measures, and the staff come around constantly asking if you want another drink, both during meals and just during the day when you are by the pool. Great service. The included beer is kingfisher, which was very nice.
The pool and pool area was clean and tidy, a man would come and clean the leaves from the pool every hour or so. Not that many sun beds, but it's only a small hotel, and the beach is a 5 min walk away!
The reception is good, and you can buy a padlock for a safety deposit box for 300 rupees. Security officers keep watch 24hrs a day.
I would definitely return, this hotel is amazing. A special mention to all the staff, who made our stay fantastic, and really could not do enough for us!
