This is excellent place to pace in very silent & calm....with Calangute Beach just few meters away with many water sports & more.....Nice Place to get in....Good place to roam around..Also Calangute is also near to Bagha Beach...which is also the famous tourist place along with Calangute Beach....The Hotel has it different branch along Goa beaches

We were in Goa in December for a short vacation . We got the booking done through Yatra.com. Best part of this hotel is its location and warm & cosy rooms.
The negative side is service, pathetic enterance ( you will be scared) poor reception area, and breakfast. We reached GOA on 17th dec 09 and we had the bookings done thr Yatra. We had the print out of our reservations. We met a guy at the reception ", he was not aware of our bookings and looked totally lost. We had to wait at reception for about half hour. After that when the confusion was sorted out we didn'd got a pool facing room which we were promised. and they explained that they had given room to some othe guest with the same name. it was really frustrating.

On the positive side rooms are nice, but we had a mice in our room.
Breakfast is just pathetic. If you are going for a small vacation and wish to spend most of the time on beach then I think this is the perfect place as its walkable from Calangute beach.

First night was spent in a room that was heavily infested with mold. They changed my room the next day with no fuss, so that was nice. Still they must have known it was wrong, so it was really not alright.
I also found a large cockroach in my room, and later I found one in my siutcase when I returned home. So a little more pester control could be nice. The breakfast is quite awfull, even worse than Sea Breeze Village, but there is the option to find a bar nearby.

The hotel is situated perfectly close to an ok 'quite' beach, atleast compared to sea breeze village.
The staff was nice as always but the atmosphere between staff seemed a bit harsh now and then.

I would 'semi' recommend it, but not more.

This review is for the Seach beach breeze hotel my poorest expereince in GOa as of yet. The hotel does not have a resutrant( even though it advertises one) There were dirty towels to greet us when we entered. There was no power backup. The hotel had like just couple of tea pots to share between the occupied rooms. There was no hot water at least on couple of days. The place is at least a 15 minute walk from the beach.

Stayed at this hotel one week in January 2008. Be aware that there are three hotels of the Sea Breeze chain in north Goa, this review is for the one ending with “beach”.

The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Calangute with the town and beach just minutes walk away. The only thing that we heard during the stay was the kids at the next door school singing in the mornings. But this was just a flavour of being in India.

Please observe that hotels in general does not have the same standard as in for example Thailand.

The rooms are spacious and kept very clean by the mostly Nepalese staff running the place. The AC was working perfectly as was the fan and fridge in the room.

The balcony was a nice place to sit on although rather small. You should ask for a first floor room as the ones on ground floor probably felt a little looked upon by us passing on the way to the pool and breakfast .

The pool is small and they try to keep it clean but we had to ask them to do a better job in the middle of the week. The reacted immediately to this feed back. But is was just about ok.

Breakfast is not much to jump for joy over, it is coffee and tea (wonderful tea!), toast jam and butter, fruit and eggs in different shapes and a little warm thing. Most of us bought some own goodies to bring along in the mornings.

The hotel restaurant is ok we tried it a couple a times and did not get sick, as this could be a problem in India.

Prices in India are very, very cheap a restaurant visit with two courses and drinks comes to approx 9 Euros each at the very best restaurants.

The hotel grounds are kept clean but this is not the situation outside or the path to the beach. As a first time visitor you will be shocked but after a few days you get used to it as one negative side of India to be balanced with a lot of positive ones, come with an open mind and you will like your stay at this hotel.

Do use the taxis outside the hotel instead of walking back and from your restaurants. It is almost free to use them. If you go within Calangute it comes to 100 rupees (1Euro) and going to Candolim comes to 150 rupees. This way of going is a lot safer then walking in the streets among cows and cars. To have a taxi over the day comes at 800 rupees (if you discuss the price) and gave us more information then using the tour company excursions.
