We came to Montgomery for a reunion on July 20 - 22 and stayed at this location because it was close to the reunion location in Montgomery and it was a new hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly from the time we walked in until we left. You can tell this place just opened by all the new furniture. We stayed in suite 303. It has a separate bedroom, but there is not a door in case you wanted to entertain anyone in the sitting area without disturbing the person in the bedroom. It had an entrance like a door would be there, but just didn't have one. Maybe this is Fairfield Inn's style. There are 2 flat screen TVs and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was big even though it did not have a separate shower, but it was very nice. Plenty of closet space, microwave, refrigerator, coffee, etc. I love these amenties in my room. Very spacious.

The continental breakfast was really nice and everyone from the person keeping the coffee filled to the manager was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed.

There was a little mix-up with our room not getting cleaned on the second day. I'll attribute this to a miscommunication between my husband and the maid. She saw him in the hallway around 10:30 a.m. and asked did he need anything. He said "no, we're leaving." I guess she thought we were checking out because no one cleaned our room. I would think they would have a list of people checking out. Once we contacted the front desk, it took over an hour to get some clean towels.

There are quite a few drive through restaurants in the area, McDonald's (you can walk to this one), Burger King, etc. I would stay here again. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.

Room tip: I would ask for a room away from the elevators and on the front of the hotel. The view is better unless you like to look at cows and horses which is located in the back.

We were just passing through on our way to the beach and needed to stop for the night when we came happened to come up on this hotel. We didn't know for sure if we were going to stay or keep traveling that evening so my husband went in and talked to the staff at the desk to see what was ahead of us on the interstate to stay at. I thought we could go further but we only stay at Marriott hotels and I didn't want to chance going on there not be another Marriott for hundreds of miles and we had already been driving all day with a 2 year old. I sure was glad that we chose to stop at this particular hotel! The staff was very nice and helpful :-) First of all the hotel had just opened the day before and we were among some of the first customers that they had had so we knew everything was going to be new and clean which made me feel very comfortable. The room was very nice and spacious and had very large walk in shower which my two year old loved.
I really wish I could remember the name of the nice young man at the front desk. He was very helpful when my husband could not find milk at any of the stores located at the exit. There are several gas stations near the hotel but for some odd reason all the milk they had was out of date but that's another story. He went into the hotels kitchen and gave my husband some milk for our son which we appreciated so much.
If we are ever passing through this area again we will definately stay at this hotel :-)
