Kapaleeshwar temple was one of my favourite places in chennai. Very religious and calmante. The temple itself is beautiful piece of architecture. Best time to visit is evening, cool temperature and less crowd.

Amazing place to visit. Full of peace and natural climate. Loads of divine statues. One should be ready to walk and enjoy it to the fullest.

How can I describe this place without saying Nirvana?

This is a very spiritual place and somewhere you should go too. Please respect them by not eating meat or drinking alcohol for a period of 24 hours beforehand.

Paid a Visit to this temple on the last day of my trip on 29Mar18. It was a great blessing tot see the lord and gets his blessing. Outside the temple there are a lot of street shops and the one attracts me was the local Indian medicines shop. You can get almost everything that you want from the Ayurvedic products. Price is reasonable as well.
