Had an excellent 2 night stay. Food and bar were excellent (don't try the Kingfisher on tap). Plentiful breakfast with choice of cooked, continental and Indian. Organised some trips with hotel to Mahabalipuram (RS7,000) and Chennai (RS 2,000). Probably more expensive trips than independently organising - but for our limited time was worthwhile. Had lunch at sister hotel - Fishermans Cove. Amazing - wish had chance to stay there also. Taj Club House is less formal than others in Chennai - which is nice. Staff were vey well trained. Even at checkout someone came runnning down as I had forgotten a camera battery in room.
