If you need a hotel very near the airport (domestic and international) you would be hard pressed to find better. Its modern, clean, very well maintained with excellent service. It has good food, both Indian and Italian. We can recommend the Italian- its authentic and high quality with a good range of dishes. The restaurant service is superb.Chauffer driven service to and from the airport was included in the package along with breakfast.. Excellent value and you avoid wasting time in the congested traffic.

It's important to note that this hotel is closer to the international airport, but take sometime from/to the domestic airport.
The room was very good, service excellent, concierge very helpful. The rate is quite pricey (got the same rate for Taj Mahal Palace) but then again it justify the pleasure. Drawback is that the flyover at the front of the hotel is still in progress so it may distract the view a bit.

Extremely close to the airport, with a lot of amenities. The Spa treatments are amazing. Gym and pool are superb. rooms are spacious.
downside is there is nowhere to walk to.

Room Tip: please pick a room near the elevators otherwise you may have to walk a long way

We went to Mumbai with a tour and the reason of selection of this hotel is location close to airport because we had a very early morning flight Kochin.Hyatt Mumbai is luxury hotel especially the size of the room and mostly the bathroom was very nice. Hotel has a very tight security which is being carried our for the sake of the customers , so no complaints about it,however internet which is a “world wide service” was not working well. The bathroom and rainshower is unforgettable for Mumbai’s humid climate.Food was nice but with limited options.

This hotel has been a regular for me over the past few years. It's not perfect but the staff are good and it clearly caters well for international guests.

What's good? The rooms are great with plenty of space and decent bathrooms and rain showers. The gym is well sized with enough equipment for even some more serious fitness types. The Club area is decent and provides a good spread of food for breakfast and evening drinks. The main restaurant serves a great buffet and caters for most tastes - although it can get both crowded and noisy. The bar is good and sits above the Italian restaurant which I did not experience on this trip.

What's not hot? The security. Its invasive, inefficient and tiring. Being wanded down EVERY single time you enter grows old. Worse is that it's pointless because they take no action when you register with metal on you. Next is the Internet - I still don't get hotels that charge for it, but at this Hyatt it doesn't always work well. Also having to register by cable in your room first before using wireless is...well, just stupid. And if you only have an iPad?

Overall a good performer with a few flaws. But this is India and that makes this hotel a solid pick.
