Great chicken. Different types of fried chicken and pretty decent vegan options. Go here for amazing starters. But the main course is not that amazing. Still the burgers and fries are definitely above average. You can say this is a classy version of KFC with better taste.

Casual dining restaurant based in versova has come up with the new technique of frying by Broaster pressure fryer. Restaurant is on the main road and 2 minutes walk from Versova metro station.

The equipment is imported from US, it’s basically mix of deep fat fryer and pressure cooker. Food gets fried quickly and it consumes very less oil than our regular fryer resulting in less oil usage. When we had the chicken cooked in same pressure fryer we really got surprised to see less oily meat and it was juicy, tender and moist inside. This technique was used in USA in 1953 for the first time. Now they have come up with yellow tie hospitality in india. Broaster fryers cooks your food faster than regular fryer resulting in more quality production.

Why you should visit this place?- if you r true chicken fan.

As i was talking to Mr. Karan Tanna who is founder and CEO of the yellow tie hospitality i could see how much of R n D has gone in to make this franchise model restaurant. They have plans to open more than 15+ outlets pan India and as karan said they are working perfectly over it. We are thankful to Mr. Karan and Mr. Abhilash who guided us so nicely and they showed us the kitchen which was surprising. As very few people allow guests to enter in the kitchen. I must appreciate chef as they are managing perfectly in the area which is given to them and the long menu which they serve. Genuine Broaster Chicken is already available in 36 countries across the world.

When the ambience is concerned, i loved it (5/5). They have given a very casual but intresting look to their restaurant. They have used Helmets as thr lamp. Pint bottle are used as ashtrays. Seating is very comfortable.

Menu is designed very correctly thinking of Indian guests and their likings as they say be correctly 'American soul Indian Heart'. They have tied up with great chef Harpal Singh Sokhi who has created many dishes for them as his speciality. They have introduced dishes as Indo-American cuisine means they have Indian dishes served in modern way. Menu has Beverages, Appetizers,Fried chicken, Burgers, pastas, Indian selection, wok cooking, fish and desserts.

Beverages-

Chulbul soda- A Refreshing drink made with cumin syrup, chaat masala and coke. True refreshment.(4.5/5)

Bulbul soda- Orange feeze infused with salted caramel syrup and chaat masala garnished with mint. Nice twist i felt.(4/5)

Tarabuz cola- Water melon and coke was going really well. Had sweetness of watermelon.(4/5)

Food-

Platter –
The genuine Broaster chicken- Chichite marinated and slo-bro coated chicken fried in pressure fryer. It was super juicy and coating was different too. Less oily and tender. (5/5)

Happy fried chicken- Chef harpals secret marination cooked. It was lemony and cheesy and tasted superb.(4.5/5)

Hot masala chicken- boneless thighs marinated with Cajun and then cooked to perfection. Served along with harrissa mayo, curry mango jalapeno dip(chef harpals special).(4/5)

Firangi palak paneer- Creamy spinach cheesy dip served with pita triangles. Paneer and mozorella was giving that super cheesy taste to it.(5/5)

Bidu’s chicken curry- Country style thick and spicy chicken curry served with ur preference of buttered pav, chaval or butter paratha. Gravy was thick and dark with lot of flavours in it. Chicken peices cooked perfectly and it was soft.(4.5/5)

Chocolate samosa with mango ice cream- Chocolate and peanut mixture in mini samosa served along with mango ice cream and drizzles of chocolate sauce over it. Samosa was very good and not too heavy. Mango ice cream was amazing too. Ideal way is to deep that samosa in ice cream and have it.(5/5)

Gulkand Muffin- Chef Harpals recipe with gulkand. Super moist muffin and sweetened to perfection. Loved the innovation and muffin was moist enough. My only suggestion to them was that they should have garnished with something or change the plating as it was looking very naked on the plate.(4.5/5)

In all it was amazing experience with new concept and variety of food they offer. Their efforts and R n D will surely pay them back as this brand has bright future ahead. Thanks to Mr. Karan and Mr. Abhilash for allowing us to see the Broaster Pressure fryer.

I am a regular visitor and I love their food. Their service is prompt and the food is delicious. Hot chicken wings are oil free and crip. Bidu's curry is a must try. Great Khali burger is to die for. Melting barrels- will make your mouth melt. To wind it up their chef is good and one must try it when in Mumbai. Oh well they serve liquor too.

Genuine Broaster Chicken, according to us, is the PLACE to be at to enjoy your chicken fried sans the guilt....why? Read Further.

Trademark of an American guy who invented a technique of combining frying and pressure cooking, it boasts of consuming 50% less oil than the usual to cook crispier and tastier fried chicken than KFC chicken. Quite famished, we preferred to order first and paid little attention to the ambiance. Since they were yet to get their Daru (Liquor) license we chose to order Palang Tod and Bul Bul together with Hot Masala Chicken and Gotala Khichdi.

By the time our drinks came, we were quite impressed by the decor. Demure and yet very chic.....such a change from the stereotypical decor one gets to see nowadays. A place like this seemed quite empty than it usually should on a Saturday night, and we think the unavailability of Daru (for some strange reason we are addicted to using this word today) is to be blamed for it.

Bul Bul was slightly sweeter than usual, not at all salty but tasty. Palang Tod, a perfect combination of a coffee shot with cola, was yummy and made sure we had sleepless night thereafter (Please do not read between the lines).

Hot Masala Chicken was perfectly crisp, tastefully done and was extremely light. Our fingers were grease-free while it fed our mouth, an assurance that there wasn't too much oil in it.

Ghotala Khichdi boasted of comprising of unique combination of Chicken and Lamb. Tender Lamb chunks cooked with moist Kheema was perfectly spicy and rich in texture.

Perfect Option for those who would prefer a Better KFC / Burger King / Mc Donalds / Subway like options in a very Bistro like ambiance.
Service is quite friendly and prompt. Perfect place to chill-out sans the shor-sharaba(noise)
